‘Starting quarterback Rob Johnson is already in camp, and looks to be in great shape.’

‘Two years ago, as the Titans’ defensive coordinator, Williams watched in pleasant disbelief as his team ousted the Bills from the playoffs with a controversial last-minute, trick-play kickoff return in another wild-card game.’

"Training camp’s not supposed to be easy. It’s tough, as it’s a tough man’s game."

"Under former coordinator Joe Pendry, who was enamored with the quarterback’s arm strength, Johnson was forced to take seven-step drops and throw down the field far too often. Now, Pendry is gone and Johnson will have the luxury of working from new coordinator Mike Sheppard’s three-step-drop attack."

‘There will be four practices, including two today (9-11 a.m. and 4-5:45 p.m.), before the remaining veterans report Saturday afternoon. The first full roster workouts are Sunday.’

‘"This is when people start to smell football in the air," Williams said. "I’ve been really appreciative of the last couple days that the weather has popped. Training camp’s not supposed to be easy, it’s supposed to be tough. This is a tough man’s game."’

‘"I expect that he would be here and ready to go. If he’s not, I’ll be coaching somebody who is here. I’m more worried about who’s here than who’s not."’

‘Tomorrow: Rookie camp (9-11 a.m. only). Parade in Pittsford at 6 p.m.’

Join Pittsford in welcoming the Buffalo Bills back to Pittsford with this town wide parade. The parade will step off from Sutherland High School and travel the following route:

Sutherland Street, to Lincoln Avenue, onto South Main Street where

it will pass by a reviewing stand and end at the corner of South Main and Monroe Avenue.
