‘It felt like every member of the Bills offense got into the end zone at some point but both rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman and second-year tight end Dalton Kincaid shined. The duo each brought in a pair of touchdowns, although one of Coleman’s touchdowns was close to being out of bounds. Josh Allen insisted after practice it was a touchdown.’

'Let's Go Buffalo': Fans enjoy the first day of Buffalo Bills training camp
‘“When you think about what’s the way to keep your hands cleanest to eat a wing. You have to pick through the middle of a flat and eat it with two hands. With a drum you can pick it up with one hand, dunk it in sauce, whether that’s blue cheese or ranch,” safety Damar Hamlin said.’
Bills embracing new identity heading into training camp
‘“The way I’m looking at it this year, it’s a little different than 2018,” McDermott said. “It’s an opportunity, and you look forward to those opportunities, to bring a team along and put a team together … I think one of the cool things about the position I’m in, the position that we’re in as coaches, the position that [general manager] Brandon [Beane] is in and his staff, we get a chance to put together a team.”’
Bills GM on Josh Allen ‘overrated’ remark from NFL exec: ‘There’s idiots everywhere’
‘The overrated comment stems from an ESPN survey of NFL execs, scouts and coaches that ranked the top 10 quarterbacks around the league, in which Allen slotted in at No. 3 behind Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes. Despite praise from others surveyed, the detracting anonymous executive went on to say Allen “is underdeveloped at winning at the line of scrimmage, tends to lock on to targets, more of a thrower than precision passer, forces throws into traffic.”’
4 Observations: Keon Coleman jumps right in with starters as Bills open camp
‘Rookie WR Keon Coleman was with the starting offense more than I thought he would be early in camp, and he was up for the challenge. Coleman hauled in a touchdown in the back of the end zone during an 11-on-11 and should have had a second. Allen found Coleman along the sideline, but the officials called it incomplete. We went back and watched the play on the team video, and it should have been called a catch.’
Bills open training camp in Rochester
‘”I love camp,” quarterback Josh Allen said. “I think we all know that. It’s my favorite time of the year. Get to hang with the boys in the dorm rooms. Play cards. I won the inaugural Catan game last night against Dawson, Dalton, and Spencer. Make sure you let them know that.”‘
New-look Bills building bonds at training camp
‘“Leaning into each other and sitting by different people at dinner and talking and discussing family and life off the field,” said Josh Allen. “Even though we’ve only had some of these guys for a few months I feel like I’ve known them for a long time, that’s how close and quickly we’ve bonded. The more that you can trust someone off the field, the more you can trust them on it.”’
Buffalo Campday Recap: On day 1, Beane is hot and so was the offense
‘Brandon Beane was steaming mad about an unnamed exec that called Josh Allen “overrated” in the annual ESPN quarterback poll. “There are idiots everywhere,” Beane said. He called the opinion ignorant and questioned ESPN for even printing it.’
Bills Mafia is pumped for Training Camp at St. John Fisher
‘Naturally, fans are bursting with excitement! “We love the Bills— we’re obsessed” said Brittany Rassman. “We live in Bengals country so everyone hates us. We came all the way here because we’re die hard fans.”’
Allen's leadership role continues to grow entering 7th season
‘In terms of identity in his quarterback, Sean McDermott has seen a difference this year. “I’ve noticed a ratcheted-up form of Josh and from a leadership standpoint,” he said. “(He’s) just being intentional about working extra with his core receivers, backs, tight ends — and if something’s not right, (he’s) being proactive and saying ‘Let’s run that again’ or ‘I need to see that again.'”‘
‘Great to be back’: Bills open camp at Fisher, much to fans’ delight
‘“It’s really awesome being here,” says young fan Mason Mincher. “And this is my second time here in my life, and I’m really liking it.”’
Top 3 things we learned from Day 1 of Bills Training Camp | 2024

Ryan O'Halloran: Is Bills' current plan at safety the right plan?
‘Rapp enters camp as a no-doubt starter, Edwards (injury) did very little work during the offseason practices open to the media and Bishop, while full of potential, is a rookie learning a complicated position.’
Bills Mailbag: Who emerges as the team's No. 1 receiver?
‘Brady knows how to best utilize Samuel, and it’s clear he’ll have a role in mind for him. As for Coleman, we’ve seen rookie receivers have big years in the NFL. It’s hard to project him without having seen him take a meaningful snap in a Bills uniform, but the team clearly likes his skill set. The best case for him is he’s a talented rookie who figures to be given a long rope in earning a spot, and he’s got one of the best quarterbacks on the planet throwing to him.’
