‘The Bills had a chance to make it back to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 1993 season, when they lost their fourth of four consecutive appearances.’

‘Allen took a shotgun snap and faced immediate pressure from one of Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo’s diabolical blitzes. He drifted back and heaved a pass off his back foot with two defenders bearing down, the ball floating into the night sky. Left uncovered by the blitzing defensive backs, Kincaid dived for the ball as it fell. It could have settled into his arms but instead bounced off them and fell to the turf.’

‘As she screamed with joy after her beloved Buffalo Bills seemed to have recovered a fumble, it was clear that Ms. Hochul was among friends at McGeary’s Irish Pub, a stalwart hangout in downtown Albany that has long been a safe space for Bills fans.’

‘In photos posted on her Instagram Stories, Hillary Trubisky — the wife of Bills backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky — revealed the group traveled aboard what appeared to be a private jet that featured game-day cookies and decor, including a sign that read, “Bills babes take KC.”’

‘The Buffalo offensive line failed to block enough to get QB Josh Allen one yard on a fourth-and-1 in the fourth quarter, and, moments later, they failed to hold off a Kansas City blitz that wrecked a fourth-and-5 play the Bills needed to stay alive. ‘

‘“They gave a good look. I didn’t see anything on my first cadence, I was sliding left. Corner came, and yeah,” Allen said.’

‘Benford also sustained a concussion at the end of Buffalo’s divisional round win against the Ravens on Jan. 19, but he cleared protocol in time for Sunday’s game.’

‘After the Bills were stopped short on a fourth-and-1 call early in the fourth quarter of their AFC Championship game loss to the Chiefs, Portnoy posted a 52-second video to X where he ranted about the spot after Buffalo’s third-down completion, the spot on fourth down, the referees determining everything and how “I quit football.”’

‘During the Bills’ divisional round win on Jan. 19, Hollins went with a beach theme — with a bucket hat and unbuttoned Hawaiian shirt accompanying a small Bills football in his hand.’

‘“The opportunity’s there to catch it and it should be a catch, yeah,” Kincaid told reporters after the game.’
