Johnson started last year on the practice squad, was activated on Oct. 20 and finished with 45 regular season/playoff carries and eight regular-season kick returns. In 72 career games, he has 238 rushes for 1,057 yards (4.4-yard average) and four touchdowns, and 93 catches for 730 yards and four touchdowns. Davis was drafted in the fourth round (No. 128 overall) after a five-year career at Temple, Vanderbilt and Kentucky. He rushed 746 times for 3,626 yards (4.86-yard average) and 29 touchdowns.

‘Yes, he’s got an intimate knowledge of the Bills’ defensive scheme. He knows what head coach Sean McDermott likes to run, he knows the strengths of weaknesses of specific players and he also has gone up against Bills quarterback Josh Allen plenty in practice. The Bills are aware of all that and will react accordingly. Keep in mind the Bills’ know Poyer’s weaknesses as a player, too.’

‘In a video produced by the Bills that included receiver Keon Coleman’s team interview at the combine, I counted 16 people in the Lucas Oil Stadium suite. I asked director of player personnel Terrance Gray about that.’

‘Last season, Kincaid had 73 receptions – the second-most on the Bills – for 673 yards and two touchdowns. His 91 targets were also the most behind wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who was traded to the Houston Texans in April, quickly making Kincaid a trusted target for quarterback Josh Allen.’

‘Since the stadium construction deal was reached in May 2023, Erie County has paid about $1 million to the Phillips Lytle law firm, the Buffalo-based firm handling the county’s stadium-related legal work, County Attorney Jeremy Toth said. The legal bills continue to pour in as Phillips Lytle subcontracts work out for building permits and minority hiring compliance oversight.’

‘You remember his play, don’t you? Even if you were not yet born, surely you have seen it on replays. The Dallas Cowboys were beating the Buffalo Bills 52-17, late in the Super Bowl following the 1993 season, when Cowboys defensive end Jim Jeffcoat knocked the ball loose from Bills quarterback Frank Reich. Cowboys defensive tackle Lett scooped it up and rumbled 64 yards for what looked like a certain touchdown. But Beebe, a speedy wide receiver, streaked down the field and knocked the ball away from Lett – who was hot-dogging the football in an outstretched hand – an inch or two before the goal line. The ball rolled out of the end zone for a touchback.’
