Toledo Bill Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 when he punted from the 35 during the first drive (with a "smash mouth" team)
Pete Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 That was the game right there. We had momentum and we should of gone for it. What the fug? Play to win. Take chances! Thats whats nice about being a 3-6 team. ALways be wary of the opponent with nothing to lose. We have nothing to lose but dont play like it
Rubes Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 A lot of folks in the chat room at that time disagreed with me, but I said the same thing. They were moving the ball well to that point. They were 3-5 with only a shred of hope left for the playoffs. They're on the road against the champs. No balls.
Beerball Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 He was confident in his team and was conservative to a fault. Playing for field position was a sign of over confidence as things turned out.
CentralVaBills Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 when he punted from the 35 during the first drive (with a "smash mouth" team) 119198 I agree 100%. I was so pissed off, I wanted to choke the gutless wonder. The offense was moving, and the chickenshit punted. I knew the game was over right then! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: for the ball-less decision MM!

Usually you gain 14-24 yards and you lose possession---what a gift to the opposition
KOKBILLS Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 when he punted from the 35 during the first drive (with a "smash mouth" team) 119198 Well...if there was any respect left after that decision, I lost it today when MM announced DB would start...
