Ghost of Rob Johnson Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 What a joke. A soft coach breeds soft players=injuries galore. I can't say I'm surprised because we all knew it but for TO to come right out and say it is pathetic. Poz's bones would definately be harder had Jauron had more difficult practices.
kota Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 I think TO was referring to the fact that Dick Jauron gave veterans days off in Training camp and there have been a few times this year where he let TO or Lee take a practice off. I personally am ok with this practice assuming the guy is a proven vet like TO is.
Guest dog14787 Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 T.O.'s indication he might be being willing to stay put in Buffalo despite how tough the season has been so far speaks volumes for our HC DJ in my opinion, the Buffalo Bills players really love their Head Coach, no doubt about it. In my mind T.O.'s comments puts a whole new spin on why DJ can and possibly will remain in Buffalo for the long haul. Personally, I want T.O. to stay and finish his career here in Buffalo and I also think T.O. still has allot to give to the game.
seq004 Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Poz's bones would definately be harder had Jauron had more difficult practices. Well, seeing that the first real contact Poz had was the first game of the year yeah I think your right. Dick's a great coach in TC, preseason, regular season, and playoffs. He has his teams ready. We lead the league in penalties. Maybe if he got on his players during TC aboot the lines jumping it would happen less during the regular season.
Ray Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 What is the excuse for the Patriots the best team this decade having more injuries than the Bills over the past three years? They were so decimated one year that Troy Brown played CB for them. People it is part of the game. The Bills are like most other teams....it is a violent game and people get hurt. So increase the amount of injuries by having them hit more? Makes a lot of sense

At the least they still have to cover him because he might catch the ball and when we have a threat at either TE or in the slot that will be a good thing.
The Senator Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Even Belicheat* rests his veterans - he* just goes about it differently, illegally using the guys on IR - that he's* not allowed to practice - to give his* vets fewer reps and extra rest in practices... Cheaters never win: The risk of breaking rules not worth reward That's not to say that Jauron's not a soft coach - he is - but I'd rather have seen them work harder in camp than beating the crap out of the guys mid-season.

Nice try though
