Mr. WEO Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Both teams have solid RBs and great running game. Both were in close games with the Bills and were running well against the awful Bills run D. Yet both were done in by a total of 9 ints after they abandoned the running game.
billsfreak Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I don't believe the Jets stopped running, they had about a mile and a half of rushing yards. The Panthers almost had to stop running, they were in a catch-up mode with time running out and had to air it out, although they didn't give it up totally.

There is a yellow streak that runs through many an OC. See also DC's and the prevent defense...

Both teams should have rammed the ball down our throats the entire game. With the way Sanchez & Delhomme played each team could have beaten Buffalo by running the ball exclusively and resorting to punting when necessary. Sometimes OC's (or maybe Delhomme was changing plays) feel like they have to prove something. Luckily for us they proved that their QBs were not up to snuff.
