I'm not sure if folks at home could see, but the stadium had at least 40% Bills fans making it a great atmosphere. You mean Diane (aussie), right? Â We were getting pretty vocal up in Section 509 by the 4th quarter. DEFENSE cheers aplenty. Felt like home! Â I would say Bills fans made up about 20-30% of the stadium. Thus, when people from Buffalo graduate from college, they move to more desirable places to live such as Charlotte. As a result, the crappier the city that an NFL team represents, the more supposed "traveling" fans that team seems to have. See: Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Buffalo. That's why when you go to a Chargers-Lions game in Detroit, you're not going to see any Chargers fans because no one would ever move from San Diego to Detroit. Definitely could hear them when the Bills were doing well. Â Was nice being at a game as a fan of visiting team and not be treated like bleep though. Have been to many Bills games where fans of other teams that came to the game were not treated well at all. Washington game about 10 years back comes to mind. There was a whole section that was being belted with peanuts and M&M's for the whole games, and that was the nicest they were treated. A few people were escorted out due to the way they were treating those fans, and a group next to me left, since their kid was getting an education in bad words. Â No, that's because their team is unbelievable, thus they have a crapload of intense, bandwagon fans and it's only an 8-hour drive. There are a lot of regional Pats fans as well, I'd be willing to bet that half of the Pats jerseys you see in the Stadium are not worn by people who actually drove all the way from Boston. I got to meet and hang with Pinto Kenny and drink my first bowling ball shot. I am a transplant from NY now living in Virginia. Had opportunity to converse with several of Charlottes Finest and was told that out of all the teams that come to Charlotte, Buffalo had by far, the largest contingency and the best of all the tailgaters they ever had to deal with. They really enjoyed the level of support that our team had and what we go through to show it. I had great tickets as far as the seats go, but unfortunately I was deep in the middle of Panther fans with not many Bills supporters nearby. Panther fans were great hosts.
