The Senator Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Edwards is clearly a diddler with his liking of Fanning, however judging by your age, I would have to assume that you like a few actresses younger than you, making you a diddler? Probably not, bug, unless you count Elle Macpherson - she's younger then me, if that's what you mean. Certainly I have an appreciation for beautiful young women. Why do you ask? Are you a 'diddler'? Idolizing child actresses seems more than a bit perverse - particularly for an NFL QB, no?
FreakPop Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 a winner at what, spreading BS TE my not be the long term answer, but he's a better QB than Fitzpatrick is, Edwards is averaging close to 200 yards passing a game, Fitz about 120 yards a game. Edwards QB rating 73, Fitpatrick QB rating 51.4 Give TE the same kind of turnovers as Fitz got in two games and TE is probably 4-1 as a starter so get your head out of the sand people. Dude, you have got to be the most idiotic person posting on this board. Sad thing is I think you do it on purpose just to stir the pot. Tweeking people like that must make your day and it also shows what kind of pathetic loser kind of life you must live. People like you suck!

News flash, the passing yards stat doesn't mean squat. The only stat that matters is the 'w' in the win column. You can go ahead and believe that Trent would have gone 4-1 or whatever. I am willing to bet a good majority of folks here who saw Trent last year and this year would disagree.

Alphadawg7 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I'm pretty sure you spend half of your day trying to find ways to discredit Edwards. I wonder if Fitz played against New England and New Orleans, would you be saying that he gives us the best chance to win. Yes I would say it against NO...our offense was completely inept under Trent. And dont forget about the Cle game..we easily win that one with Fitz or anyone else at QB. As far as NE, sure he had a solid game, but still failed to involve our WR's and left lost of opportunity out on the field. Do we win or lose with Fitz in that game...hard to say as Trents game was solid as I dont have a lot of faith in Fitz either. With a good QB behind center that game we win (neither Trent or Ftiz qualify as good). We will just have to agree to disagree because for me, I will take a QB who isnt afraid to throw and has at least the field vision to see the WR's when they are open. He may only complete say 55% of his passes the rest of the season, but I would rather take that 55% when its going to our play makers than Trents 65% completion percentage 3 yards out.

DanInSouthBuffalo Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I'm at a bit of a loss on this one. The O-line today was the worst yet this season so it is hard for me to think there's a huge improvement with Fitz over Edwards. Although throws like the quick slant to Evans in the end zone don't seem like Edwards style. That's a plus. The minus is Fitz throws more bad/incomplete passes. It doesn't matter though, Jauron will put Edwards back as the starter when he's healthy. It would completely shock me if he didn't.
The Senator Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I don't idolize anyone, but I don't find it strange for someone else to be a fan of an actor or actress no matter what their age. Then why the !@#$ would you post something so over-the-top stupid as... Edwards is clearly a diddler with his liking of Fanning, however judging by your age, I would have to assume that you like a few actresses younger than you, making you a diddler? Normally you're not a jerk, so guess I'll just try to chalk that one up to the fact that you're just P.O.'d about Fitz coming off the bench and giving the Bills their first 2-game win streak since Sept. '08, and Trent losing his job because he sucks, yes? (And, BTW, I still - and always will - find it extremely bizarre for a PAC 10 college QB to identify an 10-year-old child as his 'favorite actress' - link - that's just effin' strange!)

Alphadawg7 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 a winner at what, spreading BS TE my not be the long term answer, but he's a better QB than Fitzpatrick is, Edwards is averaging close to 200 yards passing a game, Fitz about 120 yards a game. Dude, you are priceless...these quotes are from the same thread. You made the first commment, got flamed unmercifully, made one post to try and cover up your made up concussion again, then when it failed your very next post you flip flopped...priceless Are you really this pathetic? I believe Trent Edwards suffered a second concussion last season , but that's pure speculation on my part because TE shook it off and continued playing. TE shows zero signs of it so far this season and for someone afraid to get hit, TE sure seems to be getting clocked enough. My favorite part is you actually called him captain checkdown... Captain Checkdown needs to be sat down and bring on Fitz. Then when I called you out on it, this is what you replied with: Whats the deal with the flip flop with you, are you really that dense. Perceptions can change from week to week or is that beyond your comprehension. Wasting everyone's time pointing out I'm finally getting fed up with our QB's play is Stupid on your part don't you think. Are you just that stupid? Now, Trent has done nothing but play worse since then or do anything to change anyones mind. But you are again flip flopping again despite nothing happening to warrant that flip flop. Dude, you spew some much gibberish I honestly think you forget how much you contradict yourself.
zazie Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Trent needs to retire and start to consider the rest of his life. If he does not want to be a Muhammed Ali in a few heachachy years. Simple as that; Fitz is our guy because, he's the guy we have. He is the starter by attrition last year and now this year too, lucky guy. Next year we need someone else.
bizell Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I'll use the same reasoning the Edward tools used two years ago, Fitz's presence in the game inspires the D to play harderand come up with turnovers hahah. i'm glad someone else remembers these asinine things that people were saying to prop up edwards. "he makes the defense play harder" "he doesnt turn the ball over" "he has long, controlled drives" "he has POISE" winning without edwards, and it feels great!
Alphadawg7 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I don't care if the guy is not affaid to make the throws, I would like him to be able to make the throws as well, it doesn't look like Fitz is that guy. Cant complete it? Come on man, dont start getting over the top on me. I can respect you disagree, but lets not be silly about it. And truthfully, neither of them "is the guy" But Fitz made some big throws in the last game and a half. That bomb to Evans today was perfect. So lets now go so far as to imply he cant make them because he clearly has made some so far. So lets just agree to disagree on who gives us the best chance to win and just agree they both suck and we need a QB next year...here is a beer for no hard feelings

I live in CA and have I am around a lot of Raider fans. Trust me, all they do is hate on each other...its sad, especially since most can not name 5 players on the team. My point was, JP is a Buffalo Bill, has not caused any problems in the locker room despite being upset over his benching last year, and has conducted himself in a very professional manner. Even when he plays ok, people still want to whip on him despite the loss had nothing to do with him. Someone said I was a newbie...well, I come to these boards every day for a long time, rarely post, and I am just tired of the one billion JP vs TE threads. TE is our QB, and I support that and think if he can stay healthy he is going to be a really good QB. So get over it, he won the competition and is our guy, no questions asked. No need to belittle our back up QB who came in and did a good job for us. I cant think of another backup QB in the league that would have done any better nor would I rather have on my team. He is a Bill and he should get our support until he is no longer a Bill. I would rather see posts about the lousy adjustments, or lack of adjustments, to all the short routes we gave up. Or the lack of defensive pressure we put on Kurt...he is probably the most dangerous QB in the league, or at least top 3, when given time to throw. He is mistake prone when under pressure (fumbles like he was Dave Krieg and throws picks like he was Jim Everett throwing on his back foot) and we put little pressure dropping back to protect against the deep ball when they were missing one of their best players in Boldin.

OMG...you went back to one of my first posts ever here...when we were 4-0 under trent before he showcased his flaws to me over the entire season last year. So after a full season of watching him and seeing his flaws I came to the conclussion there were things that would prevent him from succeeding in the NFL...I changed my mind over his body of work as he severely regressed from that point on...I once held optimism for him, and like I always said, wear his jersey each week (until 2 weeks ago). YOUR FLIP FLOP WAS IN THE VERY SAME THREAD 6 POSTS LATER! OMG, you are priceless...you cant possibly be this stupid...really, tell me its a joke so I can move on...I am literally laughing my azz off right now...that was a cute try though
