Dude just stop, its really becoming sad...

Don't cry little Dawg, awwww, poor flip flopping baby. :w00t:

2. Trent is the real deal...he is as promising amongst the young quarterbacks as there is. He has just 16 games under his belt, yet he shows the poise of a veteran. The kid is still young and needs time to in the pocket to be truly effective, and when he gets it, he is deadly accurate. He still needs more experience reading the D to learn how to get the ball out quicker and needs to work on throwing the ball away instead of taking these unneccessary sacks.( alphadawg post)

Maybe I should just add this quote to my profile so it gets seen everyday.

And I am the baby? Hahahahaha...every time I call you out on some crazy post or flip flop you reply crying about comments I made about your previous creepy pfofile photos...And to top it off, your avatar is your bedtime bunny...hahahahaha...

Ashton Kutcher is that you? Am I on punked? You cant be real...this is too hysterical...

Why dont you post the date of that post from 2008

And funny, how my assesment of his flaws was still spot on then as they are still his flaws now. The difference was, given what seemed to his poise and confidence in the pocket, I had faith he would improve in those other areas. This was a time he seemed like he was getting better and we were all confident in him...

Then he played the games and changed most of our minds...the fact you keep bringing this up is so stupid. I have never denied liking Trent, in fact, most didnt believe me. But, you are talking about over a YEAR AGO which was BEFORE Trent regressed and never made any progress in any of the other areas. I like everyone saw a kid who looked the part early...then unfortunately he never lived up to it so we changed our minds over the course of a SEASON...

I hope you do add it to your sig so people can see I am not lying when I said I used to like Trent as no one believes me...its also shows how long I have seen his flaws and been right about them even when I supported him as our QB ONE YEAR AGO...

How about this BS post, if you want to make a claim like this how about showing some proof, but I'm sure you can't because there isn't any proof.

lol, nope he's not my source...I have several friends at various levels of the NFL, some still playing, some coaching, some in the front office type capacity, etc. from my days of college ball while starting 4 years for a top ranked Pac 10 team.

Honestly, I don't really care if anyone on this board believes he is still viewed in NFL circles as a good coach, especially since most on here are often irrational and incapable of seperating the butt hurt emotion from logically looking at any given situation with the Bills. Truth is, it's a fact...he still is thought of as a good coach in NFL circles, and that fact has even been mentioned in the media since he was retained.(alphadawg post)

Good grief, what a joke

LMAO...dude you are classic...you are looking for any post you can find to try and find something to poke fun of.

Again, post the dates dumbass...That was a long time ago and at that point in time DJ did garner more respect inside NFL circles than he did with the fans and it was said in several media sources to boot (at that time). I dont know if that is still the case now, but it was then.

And let me get this straight, your only leg to stand on now is that you dont believe whether I played college ball or not? Thats what you have stooped to? Do you know how many people play college ball? OMG, priceless...

hahahaha, you just keep getting more pathetic with each post...

Dude you are too much man...you are literally wasting your life away reading every post I made over the last 12 months (and there are over 2700 of them you are pathically reading through) trying to find something to throw at me...get a life man, or at the very least a girl.

Both of your respective acts are tired.

You don't agree, won't agree, and are too stubborn towards each other to reach any kind of mature agree-to-disagree middle ground. So now all the two of you do is sling ridiculous "shut up", "no, you shut up", "you're stupid", "no, you're stupid" crappola. Quite frankly it's exhausting to try to participate in a thread like this with the two of you carrying on like banshees.

You two obviously cannot co-exist in a public thread, so please--for the sake of the rest of us that don't want to read your constant pissing match--put each other on ignore. That's what this function is for, and I'd be willing to bet that you're both close to finding your way onto the ignore list of several others' as well.

You're probably both decent human beings, but the simple fact that you can't keep from having a pre-school pinch-fight in EVERY SINGLE THREAD lowers the quality of the content on the board.

QB Controversy? We don't have no stinking QB Controversy. You want QB Controversy? How can Delhomme even be drawing a NFL paycheck? :censored:

Rock Bottom. That guy is toast, and to our great fortune, he's gonna take John Fox out with him, freeing him up to become our next HC.

God willing.

Still no controversy in my opinion, Fits has shown what he is, a career backup. With his terrible throws, lack of arm strength, it is obvious when healthy, at least for this season, Edwards is the starter. Shouldn't even be a discussion from anyone with a clue.

Bandit, but it's so fun to read, there is a plethora of football intellect that is being spewed upon us, why deprive us of this masterful debate between the two most beloved Dogs on this board?

They pretty much both stink right now. Fitz is surely a career back-up, IMO. But he definitely should start next week, and if the Bills win, he should definitely start after the bye. I think his play over the last couple weeks simply proves that Edwards refuses to throw the ball downfield and to the WRs, rather than the plays or players are not there.

The only way this team is capable of winning, given its roster, coaches, injuries and youth, is to make a couple plays a game. Fitz is capable of that at least, as evidenced by the TD toss and the bomb to Evans.

I agree, Kelly. I was hoping against hope that Trent would/can develop into a fine QB. Not a superstar, but a kind of Fergy-type leader for a decade. Maybe it's the OL, changes in OC's, but I've lost hope for it and believe we have start anew for a QB search.

As the adage goes; If you have a QB controversy, you don't have a QB.

I tried ignoring him, but the dumbass persists in finding my posts and attacking me. I joined up with the Sabres forum recently and he did the same thing, he attacked me unprovoked. I have been called a pedophile and Gay numerous times which he even lied about because he changed a couple letters around. I'm harassed about changing my opinion about QB's and called a flip flop and low and behold, he did the same thing but its OK for him to change his mind, but not someone else.

I get along with everyone on TSW without a problem, but this guy is hell bent on stirring things up every chance he gets. Take a look at how he got under Simons skin and Simon rarely goes off on anyone. Like I say I would love to put him on ignore , but I'll be damned if I will when he can still keep addressing my posts which should be corrected if at all possible. If you put someone on ignore they should not be able to address your post in my opinion because it leaves you completely at the mercy of some moron who is willing to say anything to cause a problem and you won't even know it. :censored:

I know since all the dirty name calling I've been over doing it and I apologize to everyone that has to put up with this BS.

I think both of them are backups. Although I think TE will be a better backup, since he throws checkdowns and knows how to play safe!

One thing that everyone seems to be forgetting is that Fitz hasn't had to work with the completely ineffective no-huddle offense. Before he left the game last week Edwards was 5/5.

Fellas.. lets face it.. our o line sucks ass.. Fitz seems to be the better scrambling QB and takes chances.. I think if our line gave the qb a couple more seconds to throw Edwards would be great, but that's not the case.. We get a three step drop if we're lucky. I think Fitz should be the QB until our line play gets at least half way decent. Why risk killing Edwards? He doesn't even pick up blitzes or realize pressure.. at least Fitz can move out of the "pocket" if you can call it that.

Posted
atrocious? are you stupid?, fitz played pretty damned good for being a new starter and having a dip like TO who just drops balls. Trent is however, atrocious.

Fitz isn't a new starter, bonehead. He started about half the Bengals' games last year.

And for being not a new starter, he was atrocious. Downright Trent-like, in fact.

While by all accounts it may have seemed like we were watching Kurt Warner in a Bills uni yesterday, the fact remains that Fitz completed 1 (one) pass for more than 20 yards. He has a total of 3 (three) in the past two games. TE ("he never would have made that pass") has a dozen. That puts him 5 behind Warner (only 1 less pass over 40 yards than Kurt) and ahead of about 10 other current starters in the NFL.
