Did you watch the playbook segment on NFLN showing film of the Miami game? We couldn't stop the run with 9 in the box. 8 doesn't guarantee squat.
Brandon Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 But what has happened against the run? Just look at their front seven. Injuries have played a major role, but still, they're small, they're slow and on the DL, they're old. That's a disaster waiting to happen.
Dan Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Poz, Mitchell, Whitner, Scott coupled with smallish inexperienced replacements and the offense not doing its part in T.O.P., it all adds up. To suggest that our run defense is suffering because Poz, Whitner,Mitchell, and Scott are injured, would be to suggest that these guys are actually pretty good. And we all know that natural law dictates that no one on the Bills' team can ever be any good. So, we have to reject your post based upon the known laws of the universe.

Who was guaranteeing anything? Sure 8 men in the box might not be enough, but it doesn't mean it shouldn't be done.
