Buffalo Mike1 Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 I want the passing game to excel just as bad as everyone else, and I hate to waste the talents of our wide-outs another week, but we have great backs, let's crank it out. We have to start somewhere and try and make a statement.
Simon Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 It's the #1 problem with the Bills offense. Teams continue to drop 7-8 into coverage all day long, completely stifling the passing attack, and we can't take advantage of it because we have the worst OLine in the NFL. Can't hold up against a 3-4 man rush and can't run the ball with only 7 in the box. That's the bottom line.

It's going to be embarassing if the Jets did what they did to us last year-- rush 3 guys, with Jenkins getting to the QB in about 2 seconds.

Pretty sad the main reason our football team is a cellar dweller this season is because our marketing director decided to reconstruct the O-line during the off season. Russ Brandon ruined any chance we ever had this season and he's at the top of my list of folks that need to get kicked to the curb. To think of what we could have done with our O-line from last season, our RB's, and the addition of T.O. makes me sick.

The most frustrating part of this fuggin operation is-what the hell did these morons use the offseaon for? Guess when we failed to score a touchdown in the pre-season, that really was the real McCOY. The next person that says: it's only pre-season relax, vanilla playbook needs to be B word SLAPPED! First String starters should look like studs all the time!!

I think the 3 guys the Bills now have in the middle will actually be able to block Jenkins this time, last season was a joke and the reason the Bills dumped those three useless blobs of flab. The major problem with this current line is the tackles, they get crushed and knocked around by third string DE's. The tackles the Bills are currently using wouldn't make any other NFL teams roster, they might get a shot in the UFL....maybe.
