DC Tom
And I feel bad for the current kid who is about to go through the rest of his life known as "balloon boy." Oh, it's not that bad. By the time you hit your late-20s, the jokes just roll right off... ...or so I've heard.
Chef Jim
And I feel bad for the current kid who is about to go through the rest of his life known as "balloon boy." Steely Dan
Balloon boy and his brothers rap about pussification. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wjXEHvpQEo http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2009/10/19/cr...ry5397059.shtml NEW YORK (CBS) Richard Heene has shared many opinions on his YouTube channel(recently taken down), but one of his most "entertaining" offerings is Heene's rant about makeup, fake breasts, and Britney Spears, during which he puts on women's cosmetics and prances about in a white brassiere. I wish I had known about all this crap earlier. It's like watching a really bad, well something's that usually good but is now really bad. ETA: And the media circus continues. Just Jack
ETA: And the media circus continues. You dropped on me from behind! From behind dude!! Did you hear the one guy in the background? Something like "turn the cameras off, we're winning" after the media guy took him down. I wonder why the cops don't have someone there 24/7 for crowd control. I wonder why the cops don't have someone there 24/7 for crowd control. I missed that. What the hell is up with the guy on the Rascal? This is great; http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/offbeat/2...on.whoppers.cnn This is supposedly his website. The rest has been taken down; http://www.thepsyiencedetectives.com/balloon.swf I reiterate I think he's planning to change his name to Lou Zer. Steely Dan
Somebody who's claiming to be RH on the TMZ site; http://www.tmz.com/2009/10/17/balloon-boy-.../#ixzz0UFPPkRGo Had this to say; 7. I would like to say that I am alarmed at the accusations I am recieving. Although I do not have cable, I have internet and I came across TMZ.com and want to clear up a lot of things. - This was no hoax. Falcon WAS near the balloon when it came lose and we could not find him. Why would we do a hoax involving our kid? - This man worked for me once and threatened to extort me. He will be releasing documents probably that include a blue print of the balloon and my hand writing talking about the plan. - I will answer more questions after. - The show Falcon was talking about was something different. Let me explain. While we were desining the balloon, we told Falcon "someday we would have our own show designing things and he'd have to hide in the attic above the garage because everyone would want his autograph" There everyone satisfied? Anymore questions, ask my representative who I will introduce shortly. Yours truly, Richard Heene Sounds nutty like him. The Falcon comment explanation sure sounds like him. I like to think that people are smart enough to realize these things when this much legal trouble is on the horizon. But then again, he hasn't exactly earned that assumption from me. Still, this guy's level of media whoring, posting on the TMZ website seems below him. He doesn't get any face time that way.
Steely Dan
Even more ridiculous crap from this guy; http://news.aol.com/article/balloon-boy-da...s-kiddie/727829 The "Box Time" video and Heene's storm-chasing, UFO-hunting exploits were featured 10 years ago on FlashNews, a wire service that dubbed Heene "The Bob Vila of Cardboard Boxes," a moniker that editors say he heartily embraced. "He saw them as toys for kids whose parents couldn't afford toys," said former FlashNews editor David Moye, who provided the tapes to AOL. "It was probably in pretty bad taste, but it didn't at all register with him. He's a guy who loves publicity." I was a kid, I played with boxes, I had an imagination. 'Nuff said. I hate to advertise for the guy but if you're of college age, enjoy getting stoned and are into the bizarre and addicted to pop culture then; http://www.amazon.com/Box-Time-1-Playhouse.../dp/B000056Q0N/ or maybe http://www.amazon.com/Box-Time-Fire-Truck-VHS/dp/B000056Q0O/ should provide great party entertainment. Steely Dan
Mom's affidavit admits the whole thing was a hoax. http://www.myfoxdc.com/dpp/news/dpg_balloo...231256331198847 Mayumi Heene told sheriff's deputies that she and her husband Richard "knew all along that Falcon was hiding in the residence" in Fort Collins, according to an affidavit used to get a search warrant for the home. She allegedly told investigators the incident was a hoax meant to make them more marketable to the media. "Mayumi described that she and Richard Heene devised this hoax approximately two weeks earlier.... She and Richard had instructed their three children to lie to authorities as well as the media regarding this hoax," the affidavit said.

Didn't the octomom get some crappy tv deal from a network in europe? That pretty much proves that there's someone out there who will give a show to just about anyone. Oh, and I'm absolutely disgusted that I actually typed the phrase "octomom".
