Alive. Found in attic. meanwhile, some american soldier died fighting for the freedom of cable news producers.

:wallbash: Dead soldiers have lower ratings than possibly dead scamps.

I guess we can file this tribe in the "media whores" file; along with those looney :P ers with 8 kids, Rosie O'Donnell, Al Sharpton and Big Don Trump.

Well this was almost as exciting at the OJ/AC chase on the LA freeway...

No, IMO, we can file it in the average American is so easily entertained file.

This was on CNN today:

Dad: Did you hear us calling you”

Balloon Boy: Yes

Dad: Why didn’t you come out...

Balloon Boy: “Because you guys said we did this for the show”

Looks like it really was a hoax.

After watching the "saucer for a few minutes, I realized that he wasn't in it.

On Mythbusters, they looked at the myth of a kid being carried away like a bunch of balloons.

They had a 30-40 pound girl , maybe 4-6. It took HUNDREDS of normal helium filled party balloons to raise her inches off the ground. They had to do it in an old hangar.

Oh what a bunch of BSer's!!!

The CNN videos want me to enable cookies. Just like this Administration. :P

I run a program every few days that removes cookies from my computer.

In one of the video's the kid is asked why he didn't come out. The mom is seen shaking her head and looking at him like, ok remember what we rehearsed? The kid then says that he "did it for the show". When Wolf Blitzer questions what the kid meant by that the father gets all indignant, "How could you make such an accusation, that really...." :wallbash:

And basically almost everybody else! Don't worry, it won't hurt!

:wallbash:

I deny them, with very few exemptions that I specifically allow. If a site demands them, I just do without.

Don't you think that the State collecting tracking information about your internet usage is a chilling thought? :P

anyone catch the kid on the morning network shows? he threw up on the today show, and then threw up while on this other show. cant wait for the videos to hit youtube. this father is nuts.

yeah, he's already blown the family's cover a couple times since last night.

hope they hit the father with the $28,000 bill that it cost Colorado tax payers.

If it is indeed a hoax, the tv networks might take a swipe at him - some eschewed their commercial time to keep with the story. I doubt is they would be successful against him, but they could squeeze his wallet hard to defend himself, I suppose.

What normal parent wouldn't flip out and be mad... Some people handle the stress that way. Now I know that is what little Johnny or jane want to hear when they do wrong. God, there has to still be a little fear left in these children.

"When your brother gets down from here, I am gonna kick his butt!"

:wallbash::wallbash:

The family should have to re-pay all the "rescue" costs.

The old man needs a mental evaluation, and the kid should not be able to sit down till high school.

dont punish the kid, his dad told him to hide because they were doing it for a tv show. it was all a publicity stunt. agreed on your first 2 points though.
