The Poojer Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 there is a raider fan radio call in show on the local richmond sports radio station, and they were actually ragging on us, it was pretty nauseating as i couldn't come up with a counter arguement
Rico Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 "There was no vibe of trying or effort from the Raiders at all from a defensive standpoint against their offense. We're getting three-and-outs. You don't hear nobody [saying], 'Hey, let's go!' trying to pick the guys up, rallying them, getting guys fired up. There was nothing. It was quiet. A guy gets sacked or somebody gets beat, they just get up. It's not like there's yelling or no kind of [emotion] about the way they were playing.Sounds like the Bills offense to me.
Chef Jim Posted October 15, 2009 Author Posted October 15, 2009 Sounds like the Bills offense to me. Close, but the Raiders is worse. But at least the Bills don't have the opposing teams calling them out. That's brutal.
Cugalabanza Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Ok, but if we were Raiders fans, at least we could reminisce about our three Super Bowl wins.
ACor58 Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 It is practically the same: - Senile owner that the game passed by years ago but still continues to meddle - check - Rumors of impending move to Los Angeles - check - Lack of identity on both offense and defense - check - Best player is the punter - check I could keep going....
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Ok, but if we were Raiders fans, at least we could reminisce about our three Super Bowl wins. +1 This organization is THE WORST in the NFL. .
Chef Jim Posted October 15, 2009 Author Posted October 15, 2009 Ok, but if we were Raiders fans, at least we could reminisce about our three Super Bowl wins. No I don't think so. Talk to a Raiders fan. That's probably the last thing they'd talk about and they hate what's gone on with that team lately. That would make it worse to see how far we've fallen.
GG Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Yeah, like this line of reasoning worked really well when we were told that it could be worse, we could be Browns' fans.
Chef Jim Posted October 15, 2009 Author Posted October 15, 2009 Yeah, like this line of reasoning worked really well when we were told that it could be worse, we could be Browns' fans. Have you been to Oakland?
dave mcbride Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Yeah, like this line of reasoning worked really well when we were told that it could be worse, we could be Browns' fans. And the Browns ALREADY moved, so they're not subject to constant move rumors anymore.
Chef Jim Posted October 15, 2009 Author Posted October 15, 2009 I've been to Buffalo And for how much I bag on Buffalo I'd take it over Oakland any day.
Albany,n.y. Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 I'm waiting to see the replay of the day the cops come & haul off Cable in handcuffs while he's on the sidelines coaching the Raiders.
Albany,n.y. Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Have you been to Oakland? I was at that stadium for a baseball game this year & it's a dump.
BB2004 Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 We could be Raider Fans That's just bad. If the Bills move from Buffalo, it would be worse, much worse.
Zona Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 We could be Raider Fans That's just bad. thats funny. We ARE the Raiders. Should have won a close Monday night game to start the year. Did win against a lesser opponent in week two, followed by 3 embarrassing losses.

Well at least not to the press...........yet.
