Cugalabanza Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I wouldn't say vindicated. Less villianized maybe. He would need to have some success somewhere else before we talk about vindication.

He would need to have some success somewhere else before we talk about vindication. That's right. One could argue that the offense would be no better if he had stayed. Does it really matter?

Ray Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Just goes to show you it is all about QB play....every OC is horrible if they do not have a good QB. Do you really think they do not design plays to go to their playmakers? The QB just needs to make them
ricojes Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I guess hes vindicated now... Um, it's still his system...
K-9 Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I guess hes vindicated now... Turk will only be vindicated when he becomes a successful OC in the NFL. Until then, it's just proving a negative. GO BILLS!!!
silvermike Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Just because the offense sucks without Turk doesn't mean the offense wouldn't have sucked with Turk. It's not like he's known as a successful coordinator.
Guest dog14787 Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Just because the offense sucks without Turk doesn't mean the offense wouldn't have sucked with Turk. It's not like he's known as a successful coordinator. From the looks of it the Bills did well the first game against the Pats because they we're using Turk Shonerts game plan. We never had a good offensive system to begin with when Fairchild was still here and we regressed each time we promoted from within to what we are now.(worse in the NFL) Pathetic when we have one of the best one, two punches in the NFL at WR and RB. Another major screw up by our so called HC.
2003Contenders Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Fairchild, Turk and now AVP. The common denominator is Dick J.
Frit0 Bandit0 Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 I guess hes vindicated now ------------- Negative, he should be relieved at best beccause he sucked
BillsVet Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Fairchild, Turk and now AVP. The common denominator is Dick J. Don't forget his two Chicago OC's: Gary Crowton and John Shoop who are not in the NFL anymore. 5 OC's in 9 seasons and four of them do not cash a NFL paycheck.
bartshan-83 Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 The only endgame of Turk's dismissal is that we don't have 500 threads popping up demanding Alex Van Pelt be promoted to OC.
Kettle Creek Football Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Why do some people start threads??? So people like you will read them and post a valuable comment. : )
