truth on hold
I vote Butler. The Oline desperately needed at least one solid and experienced player. And adding insult to injury, his replacements have been dreadful. When he was in they seemed like a different unit, with decent pass protection and some more sophisticaed run and screen blocking plays. Now the Oline is as much to blame for our pathetic pass game and overall unproductive offense as Edwards. Even with the losses on defense, the Bills defense has mostly played well enough to win. It's the truly offensive offense that's done them in. (In addittion to the horrible head coach and 2 brain fart kick returns.)

Bills Fan888
I voted Poz since we only have one starting LB who normally wouldn't even be starting but Butlers injury has killed us. Our O-Line was actually pretty good until he got injured. Now they can't seem to block a 3 man rush.
respk
I vote for the brain cramp that occurs with the coaches and the Front office on a weekly basis.
truth on hold
i agree man, the o-line hasnt been the same since he got hurt kinda scary how much of our success rested on the health of an otherwise mediocre guard
Bufcomments
Bulter Even though he wasn't a True Tackle he at least was better than what we have now.
BillsFan-4-Ever
I voted Schouman because the O fell flat afrter his injury. But I also rank Poz just as high.

PushthePile
I agree it has to be Butler. I find it a little odd that Whitner has missed the time he has for a thumb. I know it required surgery and that the doctors have probably set the timetable but it seems kind of weak to me. Guys play with fractured bones and casts all the time, it's not like it would stop him from catching the ball. Ronnie Lott broke off a freaking thumb in a facemask and stayed in the game. (My sincere apologies to Ronnie Lott)
Mr. WEO
Whitner's injured? Hmm. Wondered why his number was being called a bit less than usual.
K-9
Butler. Hands down. It's not even close. For obvious reasons. GO BILLS!!!
bananathumb
It's Butler, no question. But the real injury was to Trent last year. Doomed that season and looks like this one. He might never get his game back.
WVUFootball29
Drew Bledsoe in 2001. You mean the Last QB the Bills had that had a season over .500? Yeah he killed us...
timba
I voted McKelvin because of the long term implications. The second year for any position is crucial towards development and if we want to hang in the afc east (with the receivers in this division), his continued progress is key. For just the season itself, Butler. He had the most experience on the line and was solid while he was in there. I believe we have more success so far this season with him in there. Bills Fan888
The Butler injury IMO killed the season. Our O-Line played well when he was in and when he got hurt they died. That injury is IMO the reason the Bills season went sour. Not Jauron. Notice how our O-line has been bad for 10 years and we've been bad for 10 years. Mark Vader
Why are Posluszny & Whitner on this poll? Yes they are injured, but not out for the season like the rest of the players listed.
West End Stench
I voted Butler and think it was a toss-up between him and Leodis. Mitchell is the only other one in that list to consider. Poz and Whitner back this week, Buggs is a 2nd/3rd string player anyways, Shouman is an average Tight End at best and we have young talent behind him that can be a similar role player.
