DC Tom Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Why can't we throoooooooow the ball and see what happens I honestly think it's as simple as the Bills' offense not being designed to move the football. Seriously.
BillsFan74 Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Why can't we throoooooooow the ball and see what happens An offensive line helps too...but yes Trent is a mess.
apuszczalowski Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 An offensive line helps too...but yes Trent is a mess. Better tell that to the Steelers and Packers, or would you argue that an op-line that let Rogers get sacked 8 times and running for his life most of the game is the reason why Rogers had such a horrible game?
ThreeBillsDrive Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 An offensive line helps too...but yes Trent is a mess. 2009 Sacks Trent Edwards - Sacked 18 times Peyton Manning -- Sacked 2 times Hard to connect on the big throws when your butt's on the ground and you're under constant pressure from a porous, amateurish O-line.

Aaron Rodgers - Sacked 20 times - QB rating of 101.1 (BTW, thats in only 4 games, not 5) There are a bunch of other QB's in the league that are considered "elite" that have been sacked over 13 times this season, and they all have a better QB rating then Trent, and don't have Terrell "the future HOFer" Owens, and Lee Evans to throw to
stuckincincy Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Why can't we throoooooooow the ball and see what happens I watched a bit of the game. Sanchez' long sideline passes reminded me of Jeff Blake's signature banana throws to Carl Pickens and Darnay Scott in the late '90's.
