Coach55 Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I know he is arguably the scapegoat from yesterday's game from his stupidity, however, he is responsible for more issues than people realize. When he catches the ball, he is one of the most, if not the most dangerous return man in the game. Problem is, he doesn't catch the ball. How many times could he have run up and called a fair catch? We had terrible field position time and time again because he doesn't field the short punts. He is more than capable of running forward 10-15 yards and wave his hand. I don't think this is coaching, as when other returners have been back there (e.g. Fred Jackson last year), they would run up and catch the ball. This is one of those little things that make or break the field position battle and clearly has not been helping us.
