PDaDdy Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Our LB core is decimated. Time to bring in Derrick Brooks. The guy is old but he went to the pro bowl almost every year and he knows the Cover 2 cold from his days in Tampa.

Kelso_Helmet Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 why would he want to sign here? to beat up his old bones for an inept team going nowhere?
26CornerBlitz Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I thought Brooks got signed by the Pats That's Seau who is going to the Pats this week.
Alphadawg7 Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Brooks has told several teams NO, teams way better than us, so why on earth would he tell the 1-4 Bills yes who have a joke of a QB that cant score any points even when the D plays well? I mean seriously, think about it...he told other teams, teams with winning potential this year NO...he is not telling us yes
PDaDdy Posted October 12, 2009 Author Posted October 12, 2009 We have to do something! We are ridiculously thin. He is a body and he knows what he is doing. If he doesn't want to sign fine. At least give the guy a call.
Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I wouldn't even want to subject a classy guy like Brooks to THIS
wonderbread Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 hahahaha This team would be lucky to sign Mel Brooks at this point. They'd could dig up Herb Brooks and play him at ILB maybe he could clog up a hole. Garth Brooks could be had but he'd probably make a Better OT (He is getting a little heavy). Either way if I am Russ I am digging in and not coming out of my office for fear of having to talk to anyone.
dib Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 as long as we're being absurd. Bring back Talley.
PDaDdy Posted October 12, 2009 Author Posted October 12, 2009 If the guy want's to play we could use him. It's not like anyone else is knocking on his door. With his distinguished career I don't know that he would want to play for US. But, as I said. I would give the guy a call.
Red Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 as long as we're being absurd.Bring back Talley. There is nothing absurd about your pics, Dib. Oo momma!

He will not play for peanuts, especially for a BAD TEAM.
PDaDdy Posted October 12, 2009 Author Posted October 12, 2009 Plus, he does not play in a 4-3 scheme. Are you kidding? HE IS MR COVER 2 LB!!!! He has played 4 - 3 cover 2 all his life.
