3irty1 Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Hey Guys, I went to my first Bills game yesterday. I go to school near Buffalo, and the Bills have grown on me, even the constant disappointment... But have always been, and always will be a die hard Packers fan. When I went to the game I wore my Packers garb, and got a lot "hostility". Granted it was all in good fun, but i was surprised by the amount of comments I got. People even took time off from yelling at passing Browns fans to yell at me. I was wondering what your thoughts on the Packers were, and try and make a connection to the animosity. All in all I had a great time at the game, even though the Bills lost... and the Comments made the trip very enjoyable, and a fun experience.
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I'm not aware of any Bills-Packers animosity. I went to the Bills-Packers game in 1994. Outside of doing a Nelson Muntz "ha-ha" at a couple Packers fans when the Bills scored a TD, there was nothing besides that. They were a very well-behaved bunch.
May Day 10 Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I just think its because you wore a team's apparel not involved in the game
MRW Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I think there's just a lot of free-floating hostility around because of how terrible the team is. Like a wounded animal, the fanbase will lash out at whoever comes near.
