Fezmid Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 So my wife and I flew down to Orlando from Milwaukee last week for a vacation. After we passed through the security checkpoint in Milwaukee, I laughed when I saw a sign that literally said, "Recombobulation Area." Took a quick picture, then did a search on it when I got back today. http://www.jsonline.com/news/milwaukee/29452504.html I still think airport security is practically worthless and is nothing more than window dressing to lull the sheep into a false sense of security, but at least the sign was funny.

Marv's Neighbor Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 We're no safer now than we were on 9/10/01. It's just costing us a LOT more!
PromoTheRobot Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 We're no safer now than we were on 9/10/01. It's just costing us a LOT more! Well...I have to think it's less likely someone would try to smuggle a weapon on board a plane these days. I LIKE to think that anyway. PTR
KD in CA Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Well...I have to think it's less likely someone would try to smuggle a weapon on board a plane these days. I LIKE to think that anyway. It might be less likely they'd try to smuggle a weapon via the main passenger security. Of course, any of the thousand people on the other side of the security checkpoint could hand them the weapon before they got on the plane, but let's ignore that risk because it's more important to sell sh-- to passengers waiting to board flights.
