Kenwick Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Jauron should force Wilson's hand and just quit in my opinion
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 If he had any guts he would resign for some personal reasons
WVUFootball29 Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 DJ will not resign. I think he has too much pride for that. He'll stay until we toss his ass out.
MRM33064 Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 DJ will not resign. I think he has too much pride for that. He'll stay until we toss his ass out. How much ridicule (from the general public, newspaper reporters, fans, etc.) could you stomach for ... say ... another $6million or so ... especially considering that this might be your last NFL head coaching gig for a little while? Even for an NFL coach, that's a pretty signficant amount of cheddar.
WVUFootball29 Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 for 6 million dollars??? an awful lot. Hell, i'll let you all say my wife has a big nose to me all day for 3 years for 6 mill. Hell even 1 mill
John from Riverside Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 What he should do is approach Ralph with a settlement agreement as he is doing a horrible job but has a contract..... Meet somewhere in the middle and get his @ss out of here.
BobChalmers Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Actually - to Jauron's credit, he won't resign, unless maybe if he's asked to, because he's too honorable for that. Quitting on his team is less character than he has. DJ's a good man - he's just wrong-headed as a coach. He thinks it's too hard, and doesn't hold his players accountable as a result. He expects to lose, and unintentionally he teaches that to his players - but it's unintentional - I'm sure he still feels he's doing all that can be done to teach them the right way, and on that basis he wouldn't want to let them down.
John from Riverside Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 I am quite sure if I met DJ on the street and talked to him I would probably like him as a person...... But bills fans deserve more then this......they just do
stevestojan Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Generally, if you quit, you can't collect unemployment.

Why doesn't RW kick him upstairs to the general office.....Force his hand!

Rico Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 He signed a 3 year 9 million extension. He sure as hell isn't quitting + leaving all that jack behind. Ralph and his stooges need to dig up some dirt on him & force him out.
ColdBlueNorth Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 He should do the honorable thing... he can check Japanese history for some suggestions.
WVUFootball29 Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 He signed a 3 year 9 million extension. I was answering a question not talking about Jauron's contract.
Beerball Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Actually - to Jauron's credit, he won't resign, unless maybe if he's asked to, because he's too honorable for that. yeah, real honorable collecting a paycheck for being a failure
