DC Tom
you just don't lose your ability to coach in one season.-Shanahan won two Superbowls, he got fired. Gruden won a Superbowl, he got fired. The list can go on and on of coaches who have had success in the past, but then got fired for not getting it done. This is a What have You done for me lately league. And Jauron seems to have found the recipe for avoiding that fate: commitment to consistent mediocrity, spiced with a dash of "wait 'til next year". Tcali
First of all, Bobby April DOES NOT handle kickoffs or punts. Do you REALLY need to tell a returner to hold onto the football!?! Second, he has been great for YEARS, and isn't a rookie at this- you just don't lose your ability to coach in one season. Most of our penalties have been OFFENSIVE LINE penalties, so don't try and blame April for that... if there is one thing I know, HE should be one of the few pieces that should be retained, not released! thanks for saying that...its a bit annoying hearing the call for aprils head on here...the guy has been great for years..he gets the benefit of the doubt

Tipster19
The only reason Vic thought that there was a volcanon brewing is because he smelled the lava pouring out of Ralph's pants. The sad part is Ralph didn't even realize it until he reached for his wallet and pulled up a handful of ****. What a sad state of affairs this franchise is in. UConn James
I think he may be most pissed that he couldn't have his HOF ring ceremony b/c his handlers / propagandists didn't want footage of him being booed by almost the whole stadium. They'll probably be doing it tomorrow at the called 9 a.m. presser in the confines of the media room. And they'll probably blame the weather or something. TheChimp
The special teams has sucked a$$ all season - even after keeping crappy 'ST specialists' for April who are useless filling in at real positions. April is absolutely fully responsible for crappy ST play - just as Fewell is responsible for defense and Van Pelt for offense and Jauron for the whole mess. I'm so sick of the April apologists - he sucks the same as the whole lot of them Agreed. April spent the entire offseason, obviously, crying over the rule changes and NO TIME actually readying his men, because they are complete crap out there now, and after the McKelvin debacle, for Parrish to even THINK it was OK to go grabbing for that ball only means that April is doing NO coaching out there. For God's sake, he spent a helf an hour yelling at the refs for calling his Gunner for being downfield too soon, and they come back and "correct" the call, stating that, in fact, TWO of April's men were downfield too soon. The dude has LOST it. But the point is, how pissed could Ralph BE? It's 4:05 a.m. Monday morning, and nobody was even HINTED at being fired yesterday. If he fires anyone today, or this entire season, I'll be extremely surprised.

The Wilson/Brandon era (06-present) is looking a lot like TD's final year when everything went to crap. It was an insult 4 years ago, and it is again today. Resorting to deception and half-truths is the mark that the ship is going down.
