KD in CA Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Anyone who was alive in 1989 could never root for the Browns over the Bills. I'm still pissed about that game.
buckeyemike Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 How in the hell can anyone call themselves a fan and root against their team???? WTF? I dont care how much I hate the coach we have, I could/would never root against them. Anyone that thinks that a 1-3 record justifies rooting against the Bills needs to find a new team...we dont need you losers!!! Tell that to Packers "fans" who were cheering Brett Favre last Monday night. Still burns me up. BTW, I know I haven't been on much lately, but the Browns do have a shot at 0-16. In Cleveland, the current question is "When does the season start for the Cavs?"

Boy, do I ever remember that game. I was hyperventilating as Kelly marched the team down the field, and then Ronnie Harmon drops the ball in the end zone. Next play was the Matthews interception. Remember that I was a big Browns fan...at the time, 20 years ago.
sfladave Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Cheering against the Bills is where I draw the line. There is no way I cheer for the Bill's opponent. The only time I came close to thinking about that was not really cheering for the other team, but that the Bill's would get a higher draft pick and maybe just happen to lose a game or two late in the season when it did not matter. Sure we could do better at HC, but not if it means just another set of seasons in a long line of rebuilding projects with a coach no better than DJ. NO!
buckeyemike Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 GO BROWNS! I'm from Cleveland. I don't even say that.
