Bill from NYC Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 His catch streak ended, and in 4 games, he has 8 catches for 158 yards and 1 TD. Since he's allegedly "all about the stats," you'd figure he would have blown up by now. It really is great that you are posting here Doc. Seriously. The board isn't the same now and many do not know that you are one of the all time great persons who has ever posted here.

The mood around here would be a lot nicer.
Chas Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 DJ does not have TO calm, TO has himself in check. He is well aware that 32 general managers are watching, a GM or coach cannot fault hislow numbers in the current offence configutaion. If TO still managers to get 1000 yds and 8 - 9 TD's he hits payday on the next contract, if his numbers continue as theyarenow- he still signs a 1 year contract around 5 millin with someone new - providing he does not become a disruption. Do not forget - the NFL/NHL/NBA/MBL etc. are a bussiness, very few players can sell themselves on what they did 2 years ago, so playing therole of keeping his mouth shut only works to his advantage.
