Sorry Chalkie couldn't resist!

That would take a while...must be 1,000+ pages ago.

<_<

Ryan was the D-coordinator in Baltimore and the players on D loved having him as their coach.

some fans think he's bombastic? yet they don't like the current coach being a mannequin... what do they want, outside of wins?

If you said it you should be able to find it. Try the "Search" feature.

Or look for all you posts. You said it this summer. That's only a couple of months worth of posts.

If it's too hard for you to find, I say you never said it. I don't think you're smart enough to find it. (Reverse psychology :wallbash: )

Gotta love his attitude. He's a good coach.

Sure..But the Jets team is much more talented in the Bills especially in the Trenches before Ryan got his dig....In Ryan's case it so happens that the Jets had already spent the 1st three years of a rebuilding program by building their OL with young draft picks and paying 25M for Faneca.

Let everyone not forget that the Jets were a 9-7 team in spite of losing their last 5 of 6 (and should have been 6 if not for a bonehead play).

Mark Sanchez is thriving because of that OL..

Can't believe it took 3 pages for someone to make this point. He basically walked into an awesome O Line & a good D and drafted Sanchez. Really, his only real moves so far has been drafting Sanchez (which looks like a good one) and now picking up Braylon Edwards (unknown). If he can hold this team together, then he'll be a good coach. He's put them in a position to win, but he wouldn't be in that position if it wasn't for the past coaching regime and the drafts that they had.

His attitude is definitely in the right place, but he wouldn't be singing the same tune if the Rams had picked him up as a coach and neither would the team right now.

The past coaching regime was a joke.

Rex Ryan is the man. I still think he is second to Samari Mike tho. Either way if our next HC doesnt have the same attitude as those two guys I will sh*t myself.

Maybe so, but they built one hell of a football team minus a QB. Ryan definitely gets the credit for Sanchez, but not for what was there when he took over.

I think that he'll be a fine head coach, but pretending like he's responsible for the entire Jets team that was essentially in place when he got there doesn't make much sense.
