A couple recent polls suggest that over 60% of Americans would support a strike against Iran to prevent them from having a nuclear weapon. I would imagine based on that poll, BO could easily sell to that to the American public if need be. Having said that, there is little doubt in my mind that he will try diplomacy first, sanctions second and if all else fails either provide that weaponry to the Israelis or do it our selves.
