BLZFAN4LIFE Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I sampled a few of those (as if I had to). Ridiculous.
BLZFAN4LIFE Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Pardon my ignorance but who is Tim McCarver? Mostly known for being a baseball announcer.
Beerball Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 See larger image (with zoom) WTF would I want to do that? What's next, the Joe Buck comedy tour?
dib Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Mostly known for being a baseball announcer. That explains it. Not a baseball fan.
loyal2dagame Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Mostly known for being a baseball announcer. i mostly know him as they guy that got a shower from my man deion sanders after the braves won the national league pennant, per wiki: During the 1992 National League Championship Series, he criticized Deion Sanders for playing both football and baseball on the same day. For his criticism, Sanders dumped a bucket of water on McCarver three times while he was covering the National League pennant winning Atlanta Braves' clubhouse celebration for CBS. After receiving the water, McCarver shouted at Sanders, "You know, Deion, you're a real man." although i do think he has a good voice for announcing, i cant stand the guys work.
Chef Jim Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 No I think this is more of a sign that P. T. Barnum was correct.
Phlegm Alley Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
DC Tom Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 That reminds me of this CD: http://www.amazon.com/Rock-Swings-Paul-Ank...8814&sr=1-3 Paul Anka sings rock classics. My sister has this CD, it's actually not bad...kind of funny, really, when it takes you two minutes to recognize he's singing a Nirvana song.
Bullpen Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 No I think this is more of a sign that P. T. Barnum was correct. He thought Tim McCarver was a decent singer?
linksfiend Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Can't be much worse than that Rod Stewart cover of Cat Stevens I saw on here the other day Here's one of my all-time favorites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKbt3wRsZYw
Alaska Darin Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Nah. The best was Pat Boone doing metal. Metallica, Priest, etc. Incredible.
Beerball Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Nah. The best was Pat Boone doing metal. Metallica, Priest, etc. Incredible. Have you forgotten William Shatner singing such classics as "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" or "Hey Mr. Tambourine Man"?

Wrote the Lyrics to My Way- Sinatra's signature song and Johnny Carson's Tonight Show theme and many hits by him and others.
