Ramius Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Article Video Thats not fair to Romo. He at least threw the ball into the endzone. If Trent had 4th and goal from the 6, he would have dumped it off to derek fine at the 4. Romo does have a very trent-like 0 TD passes in the last 2 games.
Chandler#81 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 God, I hope not! I never thought much of Romo from the beginning and he's made me look like I know what I'm talkin' about.. That said, I'm a homer and hoping Trent can take the next step.
Fewell733 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 If Trent had 4th and goal from the 6, he would have dumped it off to derek fine at the 4. of course Fine would drop the ball regardless
Beerball Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Article Video Ya beat me to it! Wade's response is priceless: When asked about the series of events, coach Wade Phillips didn't know anything about a discrepancy. He said that on the sideline they knew what down it was and any questions would need to be directed at Romo.
Red Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 of course Fine would drop the ball regardless But he's a good pass catching tight end... (who went to the Robert Royal school of catching)
Black-Eyed Dog Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 It appears that whenever a talented athlete slips through the screening process, the coaching staff can always be relied on to make them regress. Colt McCoy, Peyton Manning, Jesus... It's all pretty even at this point.
