Justice Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 We cant even win one in the AFC East, lately. And to all of you that doubted Favre and said he was washed up, you're all idiots. You know who you are.
Nanker Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 All I'll say is that he's the first QB in history to have beaten all 32 teams in the league.
bladiebla Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 OMG you just called me an idiot! Im officially insulted. Gotta give credit where it's due, Favre is looking a lot better then I ever expected him to be this season, now see if he can hold on throughout the season and then we can have another will he stay or will he go preseason.
Chandler#81 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 All I'll say is that he's the first QB in history to have beaten all 32 teams in the league. Incredible. Never happened before. Of course, he's old..
VJ91 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 We cant even win one in the AFC East, lately. And to all of you that doubted Favre and said he was washed up, you're all idiots. You know who you are. The only thing "beating all 32 teams" means is that Farvre played for more then one team in his "30 year career". Why is that an accomplishment, especially in the age of total free agency? Takeo Spikes played his first 5 years as one of the best linebackers in football for the Bengals. Donahoe snagged him at his peak and made one of his very very few excellent free agent signings by stealing him away from Cinti at his peak. He came in and played lights out, but then that damn injury made him (stupidly on the Bills part) expendable. Long story short, he's now on his second team since the Bills traded him out of Buffalo. So Spikes has now played for 4 different teams in his 10 year career. It seems to me he should have an excellent chance of "beating all 32 teams" during his career, in fact he already may have, accept that nobody cares if TKO has "beaten them all"!! p.s. speaking of TKO, anybody think he might be a "slight" improvement over Keith freakin' Ellison, even at his advanced age? He certainly seems to be playing at a high level and looks like the same imposing speciman for demading Mike Singletary out in SF these days. He was even seen sprinting up and down the hill Singeltary had put in during this past off season right on the practice field. p.s.p.s please tell me how awesome Favre is from weeks 12 - 16 this season, when the Vikings will need him the most as the playoff race is raging. The Jets thought he was awesome at this point last season too, remember??
Albany,n.y. Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 All I'll say is that he's the first QB in history to have beaten all 32 teams in the league. Big deal there are better current QBs like Manning & Brady, and guys like Kelly, Elway & Marino who all played for only 1 team & never had the chance to beat the teams they played for. Carpetbagging has its rewards.
Fewell733 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 did any other QBs in NFL history beat all the teams that were in existence at the time they played? There have only been 32 teams since 2002 when the Texans entered the league.

Carpetbagging has its rewards. Wow, now Favre is a "carpetbagger"? Come on! Guess you missed last night's game. Marino was a douchebag who blamed everyone else for bad throws. Kelly couldn't win any of 4 SBs in a row, despite having one of the most stacked offenses and defenses in history. Elway couldn't win a SB until the Broncos because a running offense. Favre loves playing football--and he's still very good at it. What other QB seems to really enjoy every bit of his time on the field? Who is like that on the Bills?

What other QB seems to really enjoy every bit of his time on the field? Who is like that on the Bills? Favre was really impressive last night. That was probably the best game I've seen him play in 3 years. As for Kelly and the SB era Bills, the Bills defense was not that stacked. We had Bruce and a couple of very good linebackers but it still weaker than any of the defensive sides we faced in the Superbowl. Also our O-line wasn't that great - Kelly took a beating during that era but was really good at getting the pass away before getting creamed. The shots definitely shortened his career.
Movinon Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Favre has had a Hall of Fame career and he will get his due recognition, however , he is 39 and it’s a long season. 2 of his first 4 wins came at the expense of the Linons and the Browns, and the Vikes are certain to be 5-0 after they play the Rams next weekend. After that the schedule gets interesting, when they have a three game stretch with Baltimore, Pittsburg and at Green Bay. I think he will plus up his numbers on most career interceptions as well.

Fewell733 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 perhaps because it has never been done before of course there's only been 32 teams since 2002...
stevestojan Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 He's still a douche for playing for the Vikings.

If you don't know what the term means, look it up Thurman. If he didn't keep retiring every off-season he'd still be with the Packers. His final seasons with the Packers he was also threatening to retire & finally did after the 2007 season. So after he announces his retirement, Green Bay moves on and he then wants to return. So he gets himself traded to the Jets & what does he do after the season?-He retires again. So now the Jets turn the page and then he wants to come back-with Minnesota. He still jerks them around all spring and half of summer. Now he's on his 3rd team in 3 years-if that ain't carpetbagging, since he retired himself off his 2007 & 2008 teams, then what is?
