Kevin Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 You really have to be kidding! Our top middle linebacker is Poz-slow-knee, while they have a studd. I also enjoy watching Nate Clements at CB, knowing that he used to be here. They have playmakers, we have Scrub-bel at DE and a guy from a reality show at WR. By the way, I am enjoying the Eagle's success too- and the Vikings defense? Very fun to watch Pat Williams and Antoine Winfield! Don't forget about Gandy in Arizona, Coy Wire in Atlanta, Jim Leonard with Baltimore last year and the Jets this year.
Adam Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Don't forget about Gandy in Arizona, Coy Wire in Atlanta, Jim Leonard with Baltimore last year and the Jets this year. So maybe what we need is a front office, not a coach
Mr. WEO Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Yeah, he's so great that the Eagles - despite injury problems at QB - signed him, then cut him after one week. Say no to Flame-O. The Eagles have a backup QB who passed for over 300 yards in each of his first two starts. They don't need Garcia. Even Mike Leach could have figured this one out--and he doesn't even know you can't simulate a kneel-down and continue a play!
Sisyphean Bills Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 So maybe what we need is a front office, not a coach 10 more years of Bruce Coslet would've been good for the Bengals too.
Cotton Fitzsimmons Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 TO would love that. GET'CHO POPCORN READYYYYYY!!!!!
SteamRoller67 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Jeff Garcia. Period. Every team he has ever played on has been a contender... and it can't get much worse than it is right now. Boy was I wrong.... Jeff George, Troy Aikman, Sammy Baugh
Adam Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 10 more years of Bruce Coslet would've been good for the Bengals too. And Marvin Lewis has been much better.....
BillsFan74 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Jeff Garcia. Period. Every team he has ever played on has been a contender... and it can't get much worse than it is right now. Or Vick b/c if you can't block better have a QB that can run.
Sisyphean Bills Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 And Marvin Lewis has been much better..... I don't know your definition of terms for "much better"; but, yes, Lewis has been better. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/LewiMa0.htm http://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/CoslBr0.htm Sticking with a loser until everything else is fixed -- and I agree there is a ton of work to do -- isn't the answer.
