For the last several years this team hasn't been very good, but we have always been able to rely on a very good, if not the best Special Teams in the NFL. This year they really aren't any better than the rest of this disaster they call a team. Before yesterday, they had the most penalties of any STs in the NFL, averaging at least a fumble a game. Has Bobby April lost it too, along with everyone else? They show him on the sidelines this year, and he appears all frustrated, upset and maybe even losing control of his Special Teams.

special teams went down the drain when stamer left...... :w00t:

This is true, as well as some other players the last few years. Bobby April is fed up with the BS from the front office. He wanted to keep several players who's contracts were up, but the cheap ba$tards at OBD wouldn't cough up the few extra bucks need to sign them. They all got signed by other teams...Don't be too shocked to see BA leave after this year.

It starts at the very top.....RW, jr.:flirt:

Fixable, IMO. Moorman is on pace for another PB. Our punt coverage teams are excellent. Lindell is hitting KO's to the goal line or deeper, continues his excellence in PATs and has only missed one -long- FG. Roscoe is still a feared PR. It's the penalties on returns that are killing us. When that's the only negative -albeit a big negative- it's fixable, DON'T HOLD OR BLOCK IN THE BACK!

Yeah, I know, it's an indictment on coaching.. :flirt:

Like every other problem with the Bills, you can easily trace this one back to money. The Bills refused to resign some valuable young veteran special teamers because their salaries were creeping up to levels Wilson and his inner circle jerks deemed unacceptable. So of course April is frustrated and losing control, those rookies and rookie free agents replacing the young veterans suck compared to the guys that were not resigned.

Anybody else wonder why in the heck Jim Leonhard was not kept in Buffalo? Very easy answer - John Wendling is cheaper. :w00t::ph34r::flirt:

Thanks for picking up the details of my post and providing the players names. I am glad you agree as well. :w00t:
