JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Brandon can stay as business manager - he's good at that. The rest of 'em can all go. Thanks for trying.
ThreeBillsDrive Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Cowher will never coach the Bills He's enjoying his time at CBS. And he wants to spend more time in North Carolina at the mansion he built outside of Raleigh Will he coach again? Likely. But he has his pick of opportunities That he would work for Ralph Wilson is also a stretch. If the Panthers continue to reel, that may be the perfect landing spot for him, not Buffalo.
davefan66 Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Brandon can stay as business manager - he's good at that. The rest of 'em can all go. Thanks for trying. The Bills will never hire a coach like them, or Fisher (if fired), or Holmgren or Gruden. NEVER. Our next coach will be an up and coming assistant. He did the previous HC experience guy and it ain't working.
John Adams Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 The next keys Cowher is going to hold are those to the Nittany Lions.

Our next coach will be an up and coming assistant. He did the previous HC experience guy and it ain't working. they tried up and coming assistant...twice... why not just hire that guy from CBS who throws a dart at the map of the USA and they do a story there...just pick a coach from where the dart lands...can't be worse.
DaBills51 Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 If were gonna be this unrealistic about the Buffalo Bills coachings options...then why not ask for both?? I'm saying here first...the Bills need to give Cowher AND Shanahan AND even Mike Ditka the keys to the Bills!!
Max997 Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 do the people that continue to call for Cowher and the other high profile guys realize Ralph will never pay what it would take to get them even if he didnt have to Pay Jauron the remaining two years on his deal? add Jaurons remaining salary to what it would take to get one of those guys and you should realize you have a better chance at winning the Powerball then seeing one of those guys getting hired
Gavin in Va Beach Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Starts at the top. Not much will change until Ralph is no longer running this team.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 The next keys Cowher is going to hold are those to the Nittany Lions. Oh dear God, no. Anything but that.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Starts at the top. Not much will change until Ralph is no longer running this team. correct things will remain same till Ralph is no longer the owner. he hired a name once with Knox all other success was pure luck.
EC-Bills Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Brandon can stay as business manager - he's good at that. The rest of 'em can all go. Thanks for trying. Shannhan to coach, maybe, but not full control over personnel.
Bullpen Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 I assume if history repeats itself (which it seems to do around here), we're in for another retread, someone unproved who comes at a cheap price or an assistant promoted until the end of the season, then... a retread an unproven coach who comes at a cheap price.
apuszczalowski Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 HC position will end up going to April. He will be moved up to HC, Fewell might take over the Assistant spot until atleast the offseason. If they don't show they can improve the team, they may look at one of the "choice" assitants and offer them a HC job, but they will not land one of the big names not coaching right now (Cowher, Gruden, etc). People do realise that just like FA's, they have to want to come to Buffalo too. Maybe they could take away one of the HC's in the UFL, but Cowher and those kind of coaches won't be coming to Buffalo, and they also don't necessarily mean success. But if Jauron is canned during the season, then April is most likely (about 99% likely) going to be moved up, and if they decide to go elsewhere in the offseason, April and the assistants are gone
iinii Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 I would LOVE to see the ax drop this week! A loss to Cleveland and you might get your wish
Wagon Circler Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Starts at the top. Not much will change until Ralph is no longer running this team. You hit that nail on the head. We actually have to wait for this old cocker to die before we can think about being competitive again.

I hear Atlanta's offensive coordinator has head coaching experience. Maybe we can try him.
