ColdBlueNorth Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Will the defense get a stop - once today?
davefan66 Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 This whole Miami rivalry is a joke. That was 30 years ago. A win against the Pats would be much more gratifying. Really man, totally different situations nowadays, and both teams suck. Actually, we've made the 'phins look great today.
Maguire's Beer Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 I have another newsflash. Reed is better than Evans. He tries harder and makes more plays. Evans just made a helluva catch on that drive that Reed couldn't make in his wildest dreams.
ChasBB Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 wow -- onsides! How the hell did Miami muscle the ball back.
Mr. WEO Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 I think Evans has stepped it up today. Both likely want to be viewed in contrast to TO. Might I point out that TO, even in 90 heat, is a glove-wearing Mary?
davefan66 Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 wow -- onsides! Gotta fight under the pile for that one. Thought we had it.
John Adams Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Only thing worse than TO quitting on a team, is TO quitting without drama. He would get a standing ovation if he went off this week. The bad news about that TD. Trent gets to keep playing.
DC Tom Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Evans just made a helluva catch on that drive that Reed couldn't make in his wildest dreams. And over the first three games, Reed leads the WRs in receptions. And makes receptions in traffic, and can take a hit, and blocks well on running plays...
DC Tom Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 He would get a standing ovation if he went off this week. The bad news about that TD. Trent gets to keep playing. As though putting any other QB back there would make any sort of difference. The worse news: Jauron gets to keep coaching for another week.
kasper13 Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 How the (nasty obcenities here) did they not recover that? TWO Bills with the ball right underneath Lindell and Miami recovers it. Worthless and weak.
Maguire's Beer Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 And over the first three games, Reed leads the WRs in receptions. And makes receptions in traffic, and can take a hit, and blocks well on running plays... By those metrics, Fine is an All-Pro.
kbuckley9091 Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 That effing ball was right in Lindell's hands and he freakin blew it...JESUS!!
Tcali Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 couldnt watch last weeks game---me and the little woman had other longstanding plans. it was a great, unaggravating sunday. we all need to learn something ..finally... -by the way--been watching this team since ive been knee high to a grasshopper(1964).This game ranks up there with the most embarrassing---and thats saying a lot. Its like 1968 again..or 69,70,71,72 76.77,78,79,83,84,85,96,97,2000,01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08...and yes now 2009.
DC Tom Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 By those metrics, Fine is an All-Pro. You're an idiot.
KOKBILLS Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 That effing ball was right in Lindell's hands and he freakin blew it...JESUS!! Well at least the Kicker has an excuse for being a sissy...
FergsKU Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 You're an idiot. They did not recover because they all f'ing suck. Where the F is Maybin today. Once again. Awesome draft pick.
John Adams Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 And over the first three games, Reed leads the WRs in receptions. And makes receptions in traffic, and can take a hit, and blocks well on running plays... I have thought Reed was the better WR between him and Evans for 2 years. Evans is a little B word. The only reason he has any career is that JP used to heave it long every 3rd play and occasionally Evans would make the catch.
