they just fall down and flop around on the ground. How long do you think before we call the favorite play in the playbook, the 2 yard out pattern to the mermaid tight end?

I think Nelson showed some promising as a YACing tight end.

If I see them call that 2 yard out pattern to the sidelines to the TE I think I will YAK.

Yes, but Metzelaars was about 8' 11" tall. He'd make a first down simply by falling forward. It was like watching a redwood being felled without the environmental consequences.

All Pete Metzelaars had to do was simply grin at the defense a certain way and they would be smart enough to let him have the first down. He was that tough. Maybe even Chuck Norris's equal. perhaps. it's debatable. but close.

I wish our Tight Ends would stop catching so many balls. Maybe.... you know... feature the world class athletes flanking Edwards on each side......

Nelson is going to be a stud...

However, the question I have to ask isn't "Do they look like Mermaids?"

The question I am asking is "Why is the 4th string TE being targeted twice as many times as Terrell Owens and Lee Evans combined?"
