puppet Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Miami has had a ton of success running the ball and controlling the clock this year. Despite an 0 -3 record, they have been in every game. I think this team could steam roll the bills on the ground and wear out our already depleted defense if we can't stop the run. I'm hoping the coaches consider putting Nic Harris in at Safety on obvious running downs. He's as big as our linebackers and experienced at safety. His 235 pounds playing in the box could be a good plan against the likes of Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. The Bills need to be creative and make stopping the run priority number one. While not confident, I'm hopeful that we can get back to .500 GO BILLS
kasper13 Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 With who exactly? McCargo is out. Williams has a groin. Both starting S's are out. McKelvin out. Poz out. Harris? OK. How much has he played? 90 degrees in Miami tomorrow. Read in the Buffalo News this AM the Bills are going to use DE's at DT because they are so thin there and it is going to be very hot and humid. Tomorrow is shaping up as a another bad day.
BillsWatch Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Denney will probably get the reps at DT in relief. He has size and is decent against run.
