Cynical Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Almost as good as that Texas HS comeback game from the early 90's: Linky That's a heart breaker.
Ramius Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Almost as good as that Texas HS comeback game from the early 90's: Linky That's a heart breaker. What kind of retarded coach puts his players back to field the short FG when it would have ended the game?
Cynical Posted October 2, 2009 Author Posted October 2, 2009 What kind of retarded coach puts his players back to field the short FG when it would have ended the game? Dick Jauron?
KD in CA Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 What kind of retarded coach puts his players back to field the short FG when it would have ended the game? I'm guessing they were deep safties in case someone got loose on a fake FG. But in that case they should have been on the 20, not in the end zone. Either way, not telling them "If it's a kick, don't touch it under any circumstance" is about as poor a coaching job as not telling your KO return man "Don't run it out of the end zone and if you do, under no circumstance can you let them strip the ball from you. Go down as soon as you hit the pile".
Major Mud Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 The site where i saw this earlier, said the team lost the game in Buffalo Bills-esque fashion, OUCH!
ExiledInIllinois Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Dick Jauron? You beat me to it! I thought I was gonna be the first...
gmac17 Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 they ignored the part where the team scored 2 other times in the last 2 minutes and got an onside kick....the whole thing is incredible.
Bmwolf21 Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 What did Jauron say in the post game interview. "It's hard to win a Vermont Division II high school football game."
Steely Dan Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 What a dumbass just spiking the ball. I'm sure the bus ride back to school was pleasant for him.
inkman Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 What a dumbass just spiking the ball. I'm sure the bus ride back to school was pleasant for him. Kid will probably never live it down.

Cynical Posted October 14, 2009 Author Posted October 14, 2009 Part II: http://highschool.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1001233 Plymouth got screwed. The kid that picked up the blocked ball: his knee was down when he picked up the ball. And the head coach for John Glenn was WAY on the field during the play. In fact there were two coaches on the field screaming at the kid to run.
