Rayzer32 Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 These announcers are total a-holes. You cannot lead with your helmet no matter where you hit anyone. Harrison is a dirty player and everyone knows it.
Thurman's Helmet Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 No, you cant lead with your helmet to the head or the knees. Anywhere else is a clean hit.

Harrison is a dirty player and everyone knows it. 117093 Its illogical to go for 2 points unless its absolutely necessary.Always backfires.Of course football coaches are not mensa members-usually....Levy rarely went for a two even in the days when we actually had a chance to convert
Fezmid Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 No, you cant lead with your helmet to the head or the knees. Anywhere else is a clean hit. 117100 I always thought it was called spearing... Regardless of whether it's "legal" or not, or whether it should've been a penalty, it's still a cheapshot intented to knock a guy out of the game. That's what Harrison does. CW
Fezmid Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 No, you cant lead with your helmet to the head or the knees. Anywhere else is a clean hit. 117100 Speaking of BS calls.... Look at the one on Baker. The difference is that we got 1 whole yard (assuming the going low is even legal, which I doubt), the Pats get a 3rde down concversion for szomething like 30 yards. CW

It is clearly stated that you cannot lead with your helmet to make a tackle anywhere on the body. That penalty is called all the time on DBs against WRs.
Thurman's Helmet Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 Does it matter? We stuffed your "hall of fame" 3.7 yds per carry running back at the goal line anyway.
34-78-83 Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 Speaking of BS calls.... Look at the one on Baker. CW 117108 As if they needed that BS friggin call! What interference?
Thurman's Helmet Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 As if they needed that BS friggin call! What interference? 117112 Thats right I forgot, only the Patriots commit penalties.
Rayzer32 Posted November 15, 2004 Author Posted November 15, 2004 Does it matter? We stuffed your "hall of fame" 3.7 yds per carry running back at the goal line anyway. 117111 Who here has ever called McGahee a HOF RB after 3 starts a-hole???
Thurman's Helmet Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 Spikes just led with his helmet on that "decleater" on Faulk. Clean play.
34-78-83 Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 Thats right I forgot, only the Patriots commit penalties. 117115 Ok explain to me please how that was PI? Your team is far superior, and the last thing they need is help from the god damn refs!
Mike32282 Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 it's still a cheapshot intented to knock a guy out of the game. 117103 If only it worked.
MDH Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 Thats right I forgot, only the Patriots commit penalties. 117115 Do you actually think that was PI?
34-78-83 Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 Spikes just led with his helmet on that "decleater" on Faulk. Clean play. 117119 Actually no that was a shoulder. Stop whining , your team is going to win easily.
CajunBillsBacker Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 I loved that fantastic leap by McGahee for the 2 point try. He jumped a whole 2 inches off of the ground!
sarge117 Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 It was a BS Call on the PI! The Pats have also been victimized by crap like that. In week one they called PI on Tyrone Poole for being pushed in the back by Marvin Harrison! It was a crap call however!
Thurman's Helmet Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 Hey, Bledsoe to Troy Brown, just like the old days!
sarge117 Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 Interception By TROY FREAKING BROWN! ANd he was covering your best reciever!
KOKBILLS Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 Does it matter? We stuffed your "hall of fame" 3.7 yds per carry running back at the goal line anyway. 117111 Look...I'm sure it feels great to be all full of yourself tonight... The Pats are a great Team no doubt, and as a Michigan Fan I've been a Tom Brady Backer for years now...But in due time, mark my words, Willis will be a thorn in NE's side...It may not be this Year, or even next, but he's a Baby in NFL terms and he'll be around for a while...Heck, Willis is not even 100% yet, he's running behind an average O-Line, and getting NO help from his QB on a regular basis... So enjoy knocking #21 while you can, because you won't be able to knock him forever...
