Chef Jim
First off...do they even know what they're singing about? I would have loved to have gone down the row and asked each of them if they know what capricious means.
Magox
If you think that's ridiculous, can you please explain THIS to me? School kids gathering on the set of CNN singing about Obama, health care reform, taking a shot at Joe Wilson, and complaining about the long lines at the doctor's office. Yes, I watched the whole thing, and threw up in my mouth a little. What in the hell is going on these days? Jesus. You've got to be !@#$ing sh*tting me! Holy !@#$ing ****!! CNN just lost some major points. and to answer DC TOM, !@#$ no, they don't have the slightest freaking clue what they are talking about, let's face it, the only reason why they are singing this song, is because some black teacher coupled with some other liberal locotoad fed them some words to sing. You know damn well, that if Hillary Clinton was president, those kids would of never have been instruced to sing that song and be on TV. That's the !@#$ing truth. That's just ridiculous. Chef Jim
Would you be surprised if each one said: "You!" Just a little. And if you think that's a clever way of insulting me I would consider it more of a chicken **** way of doing it.

I'm pretty sure they'd tell you that capricious is street slang for "Capri Sun is delicious." "It's Capricious!"

John Adams
Since this turned into a news network thread, here's what's happening in our office. We installed a big screen TV in our work lunchroom last year. We agreed to just leave it on the news except for big events (Olympics, World Series, local junk). Sounded simple in practice, of course, until our resident right-wing wacko started whining about how CNN hurts his head. Some owners want CNN. Some want Fox. Debate ensues and we now have a retarded equal time schedule for both Fox and CNN. I feel like I've lost no matter which one is on TV. Where's the original CNN? I see glimpses of it but the above stories make me ill. (At least it's not MSNBC.)

Yes, I watched the whole thing, and threw up in my mouth a little. What in the hell is going on these days? Jesus. Hugo Chavez would be so proud. I wouldn't worry though. Nobody watches CNN (or MSNBC for that matter). Any viewers they may have had have left in droves when they realized it had become a chairman maObama propoganda outlet. Americans may have foolishly voted for Obama thinking he was a moderate democrat, but they have voted thumbs down on very liberally slanted news networks like CNN. Example, Fox New's 3am Red Eye beats CNN's 8pm Campbell Brown show... http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard...am-cnn-does-8pm

I see glimpses of it but the above stories make me ill. (At least it's not MSNBC.) It's funny you mention this, at my office I have CNBC on two of the televisions and FOX and CNN on the other one's. In the lunch room, usually it's between FOX, CNN or MSNBC. In regards to what I watch at home, when I'm not watching any sports, CNN use to get I would say about 60-70% of my news viewing time (which is often) and the rest to FOX, that has changed recently. I'm pissed at the lack of coverage CNN has on the health care debate that could be seen as negative for the Reform. Example, they didn't report or at least not that I saw in how the Democrats don't want to post the Bill in full on the internet so the public can view it and discuss it. They didn't report the ACORN issue, not up until recently and they only did that because it became a major story. And you know what? I have to give props to Glenn Beck, he not only helped expose the ACORN issue but he was instrumental in the Van Jones ousting, and is putting pressure on the administration on the other whacko czars, and CNN is on the sidelines on this issue. CNBC I watch squawk box religiously and regular CNBC viewing through out the day as I'm working. Fast Money and Kudlow I will tune in to sometimes in the early evening. In regards to CNN, I will watch Wolf Blitzer, I'll turn to Lou Dobbs for a few moments, some Larry King just depending on who is on his show that evening, and I'll periodically click on to Anderson Cooper. Without doubt, my favorite show of the week is with John King on Sundays. Hands down has the most important interviews of the week.

That would be nice! I was just wondering how they get the cable channels and if their company pays for it in the lunchrooms? Or do the workers all have to chip in. I was trying to work on getting a dish with the guys at work and have everybody chip in monthly to pay the bill.

Any place I've ever seen it, it was picked up by the company. But then I've only ever seen it at relatively large companies.

When I worked at ATF that had full cable available throughout the building. At the Ford Congressional building they have about 2 dozen tvs on the wall in the lunch room, turned to usually to CNN, but they have full cable in there and I've seen other things like soap opera running on a tv in the corner on occasion. Government dollars at work.
