grammer_police Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 God they were so bad this week. It seemed like every 10 minutes John Lynch would say "Well, it's time for the Offense to pick it up." Of course it's a true statement but I got the point the first time! It was as if he ... didn't know anything. I also liked how they pronounced Andy Levitre's last name about 5 different times throughout the game. Is it really so hard to find a good announcer? You could seriously pick some drunken fan and it would be more informative.
transient Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I think Ron Pitts also called Fred Jackson by the name George at some point. I agree that it was almost as painful to listen to as it was to watch.

But isn't it funny how every announcer for Bills games gets frustrated while analyzing the game? It's like they want to tell Jauron what to do. Just like the fans want to throw objects at their televisions watching him make lame duck decisions over and over again. This is painful for everyone to watch. Not just fans.

This is painful for everyone to watch. Not just fans. Their call to 'get the ball to T.O. because you pay him all that money' was wrong and cost us at least 3 points off the interception. It happened right after they said it, on the next play, so I'm glad they don't coach the Bills either.
dib Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 At one point didnt one of them say: "He leaded them down the field"
Just Jack Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Is it really so hard to find a good announcer? You could seriously pick some drunken fan and it would be more informative. That would actually make listening to the game more fun.

Movinon Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 At least a dozen times or so it seemed they said, "The Saints are starting to impose their will on the Bills defense."
Cookiemonster Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 At one point didnt one of them say: "He leaded them down the field" Lynn Swann once said "that man has two of the strongest pair of legs that I have ever seen"

MNF should stay with the current crew for a while. They are not perfect but SO much better than Miller, Theisman(god I hate the hell out of that guy), Madden, Kornheiser, etc...
yall Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 During the broadcast, they once called the Bills the "Buffalo Bears" and at another time NO the 'New England Saints". I'm not even making that up. They were effin horrible.
transient Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I would take this kid over those two again in a heartbeat! The Buffalo Bears... uhhh... hand off to George? Jackson, he breaks... ummm, man this is terrible... through the New England* Saints secondary... Boom goes the dynamite!!
