millbank
$65000 Yankee Tickets Good God, wonder what he/she will want for World Series tickets. $130,000 for a pair. Just about as much as one of TO's earrings....
Chef Jim
You'd expect for that kind of money you'd be looking at behind home plate not third baseline nine rows up.
KD in CA
You'd expect for that kind of money you'd be looking at behind home plate not third baseline nine rows up. Uh...$65K for one game? For that kind of money, I'd expect to have a threesome with Michelle Damon and Karen Burnett on the infield during the 7th inning stretch.

It's interesting that many of the parks that put in those exta luxurious seats behind homeplate (i.e Yankees and Dodgers) for many games there was no one sitting there. I think I remember that the Yankees had to greatly lower the price of those seats earlier in the year.

I think I remember that the Yankees had to greatly lower the price of those seats earlier in the year. The Yankees added them permanently as part of the new park and priced them at $2500 a seat. They've lowered them twice so far since opening day, but still nobody sits in them. It looks great on TV whenever they show the ondeck batter and there are ten rows of empty seats behind him. Each of them would have to be paid more than $65K to be involved so your expectations are too high.
