BuffaloBill Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 You do realize that Edwards is coming off his worse game of the year and it dragged down his average. He was averaging 221 before this game and would have 70 more if TO could catch the ball. I admire your steadfast belief that this team will somehow turn things around. However, three straight years of 7-9 and 2-22 against winning teams over that stretch makes me equally as skeptical.

Alphadawg7 Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 ok then, how are any of the QBs who got picked this year from the 3rd round on doing this season? Brady is the anomaly, not the norm. #1 pick does still count for something. Yeah it counts in the bank account which = playing time when you make that much money...QB's making much less sit most the time as rookies...

But the last 2 seasons have nothing to do with this one. If you live i nthe past, you get passed by in the present. 2 games against the Fins and Browns can really get the ball rolling. Of course if we lose either of those, it could be a really long season.
