Coach Klein Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 regardless of how bad we looked yesterday. the D looked great until they got tired. and the one player that really stuck out to me was Drayton Florence after he took over for McKelvin. dude anticipated the throws great. made hits just as the ball got there leading to incompletes. even got his hand in there to break it up a couple times.
Coach Klein Posted September 28, 2009 Author Posted September 28, 2009 When did we sign him? in the offseason.
BillsWatch Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 In March during FA open season. According to NFL.com on Adam Schefter: http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/03/03/bills-sign-cb-florence/ Former Chargers and Jaguars cornerback Drayton Florence has agreed to terms with the Bills on a two-year deal worth $6.6 million. The deal can grow to $7.3 million with incentives. It appears he will be getting starting job rather than Corner. He was out injured for NE game.
Flutie Flakes Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 This was his first game back. I was at the game and thought he looked solid. Looks like McKelvin will be out for a while so thank goodness we picked this guy up. Anyone hear anything more about Bryan Scott?
quikchomp Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Really happy with how Florence played. We make fun of the Bills for drafting so many players in the secondary - but you gotta admit it's a strength of the team. They don't have a top-flight elite CB or safety, but the starters are solid and the depth players are more than capable. Our 4th or 5th CB could start for the Dolphins.
2003Contenders Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Maybe if he was in there from the beginning yesterday instead of McKelvin, the Saints don't score on the opening drive?
Doc Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Maybe if he was in there from the beginning yesterday instead of McKelvin, the Saints don't score on the opening drive? Maybe if Florence played QB...
