Lost in the noise ... Roscoe can't return kicks

seriously. trade him for a draft pick. any pick!

My post was not suggestive of a trade as they seem not to be able to get anything for him. Rather I was simply pointing out something I have said on this board for a long time - Roscoe is a punt return specialist and that is all. The Bills have deluded themselves into believing the guy can contribute more. He is overpaid and my guess is that he gets axed in the offseason.

several people (i believe myself included, if i didn't post it I was sure thinking of it) pointed out in another thread that returning punts and kicks are two different beasts. roscoe's ability to return punts doesn't translate into him being a good kick returner.

I've said the same thing a few times over the years as well. Roscoe looked completely lost yesterday on offense and after that fumble on the punt return, tried too hard to redeem himself resulting in more poor field position for the Bills.

Since McKelvin left the game with an injury, why didn't McGee start taking kickoff returns again?

Probably because they don't need both their starting CBs hurt right now.

Lankster did return punts in college and he reminds me a lot of Roscoe and I don't mean that in a good way. I remember a game where he caught not 1, but 2 punts with his facemask.

I'm not too high on Roscoe right now either but yes, it CAN get worse...MUCH WORSE.

Did you see the Tennesee game??

Yeah I saw that. Two rookies returning punts and kickoffs. A veteran like Parrish should know haw to protect the football. Even after the fumble, parrish was still holding the ball with very little regard to losing it.
