Big Turk Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Holy crap... this is starting to get ridiculous... Monday night game, followed by 3 straight 4pm starts, a 1pm start sprinkled in, then 2 more 4 PM games in a row... Can I officially say I DO NOT like 4pm games...especially when there is no reason to have this many 4pm games...all of the games are in the eastern timezone... It screws up the whole day waiting around for the Bills game...
billnutinphoenix Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 It's fine with me out in the Southwest!
crazyDingo Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 You could wake up, slam your head into a wall, throw yourself down the stairs, crawl back to bed, and save yourself 3 hours of misery.
billsfreak Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 I hated this schedule the minute it was released. I prefer all games to be 1:00 on sundays, 40 years of watching Bills football, and 1:00 on sundays is football time. I think it is week 9 or so before our second 1:00 game.
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Prolly time to get some good use out of the DVR.
AnthonyF Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Prolly time to get some good use out of the DVR. Used to be 12-14 1:00 kickoffs, which worked perfectly. A 4:00 or Monday was a surprise and nice change. I dislike the 4:00 pm games too.....
boltuprite Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 hence the resaon why I have yet to attend a game. Coming down from toronto the 4:00 Pm starts mean you get home around 10:00 PM at night (if your lucky)
MRM33064 Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Living in South Florida, I'll say that the 4pm start time next week is a good thing for the Bills. The heat and humidity is brutal for both teams, but it's worse if you're not used to it.

Beerball Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 I don't care what the !@#$ time they play the goddamn games, just give me a real football game not that pansy ass crap I saw yesterday.

By the time I'm done cleaning HAMMER'S LOT. it's 11pm It's Makes for a looooong day. Where did that Violin sound come from?
Bullpen Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Nope, not tired of it one bit... now tired of the product on the field? Sure that's getting old after 10 years, but the game time doesn't bother me at all. Makes for a 2 pm game out here, which is fine for me.
cmjoyce113 Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 I like it... now when they don't play at 1 the rest of the year I will catch a good game on Sunday ticket. If they're gonna suck I'd rather watch them suck at 4 when there are less options.
Conch Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 You all sound like a bunch of cry babies. Oh it's too late for me..... Grow the F up.

Just Jack Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Watch NASCAR More exciting than the Bills. Ask the driver of the #20 car in yesterdays race. I counted 7.5 flips. Did they have any in-car video? The only thing I've seen is the track cameras.

I would rather chew my arm off and watch the maggots eat it before I let my neck get sore watching cars go around in a circle. Next to golf, it is the most boring thing on TV, unless someone wrecks and the car blows up to a zillion pieces.
BuffaloWings Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 You all sound like a bunch of cry babies. Oh it's too late for me..... Grow the F up. It hurts those who travel to the game. I live in the Albany area and had to drive back home after the game (can't afford to take the day off from work). Friends of mine were driving in from Syracuse, as well. This was the first time in years that I've been able to get tickets for a September game, so while I hated the 4:00 start, I would rather have done this than wait for a November game when most of my friends wouldn't want to make the trip to sit in the cold.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 I saw a lot of whining but not real answer. So... Does anyone have a VALID excuse or reason why the majority of games is at 4? It's not because the late games (West Coast teams) suck all that bad is it? I prefer the 1 PM game for a slew of reasons. # 1 among them is I don't like many other team matchups. I don't want to see the Skins or Cowboys or Ravens or Putrids every week because I have to wait until 4 PM. .
