H2o Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 This is my first chance to watch the kid play. He has a great arm and looks to have a knck for just making plays. He just marched the Jets right down the field against the Titans and capped it off with a 14 yard TD run where he bowled over Michael Griffin to get in the endzone. Wow.
Fingon Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 How good are the Titans without Albert Haynesworth?
bizell Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 How good are the Titans without Albert Haynesworth? their defense looked good against Pitt, but horrible last week. I'm inclined to believe they're more like last week than against Pitt.

Yeah I've seen all three games thus far. And though it's early it's not just Sanchez that is for real. It seems like the Jets are the real deal...up 14-0.
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 i hate how sanchez is already becoming the annointed one... of course he is in the AFC EAST too...
davefan66 Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Kid looks like a gamer. Although, he needs to learn to not stick his neck into a tackle. Nice fake for the TD pass.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Beat you to it. Week one of Preseason I called this. Jets are going to win this division running away.
Frez Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 The Jets are really really good! I'm watching them kill the Titans as we chat.
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 actually i thnk the titans (tennessee not ny) really are going to have a let down this season, im not impressed

It seems like the Jets are the real deal...up 14-0. Agreed, the Jets look tough. As to Sanchez, yes it's very early ... but that run for the TD was quite a display as well. When that play broke down, his instinct was to drive that ball into the endzone himself.
BRH Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Let's see how SoCal Mark holds up when the weather turns, okay?
KD in CA Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Just about to post this. Yeah I've seen all three games thus far. And though it's early it's not just Sanchez that is for real. It seems like the Jets are the real deal...up 14-0. Same here. I've seen most of the Jets first 3 games and they look very solid. Can't say I'm surprised, they were good last year and had a good offseason. p.s. Love the old Houston Oiler unis.
BRH Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Maybe now we can stop with this ridiculous anointing. He's played two games. Let's see how he deals with adversity and weather.
Dan Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Fisher... no sun glasses. And they're losing. Coincidence?
Doc Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 The Jets looked like they were going to run away with the division last year as well. Let's wait to see how the remainder of the game, and season, play out. Edit: Titans just scored an offensive TD set-up by a Sanchez sack and fumble.

truth on hold Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Right, you'd think Bills fans would've learned from last year just how important the first quarter of the season is. he looked real good coughing up the sack/fumble that allowed titans back in the game
Ray Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 He had a nice fumble as well.....give the rookie time to reveal himself. Their defense has been what has won them games not his play. He has played fair enough to win. He may well be a great QB in a couple years but right now expect him to make a lot of mistakes and I am fine with making him beat you rather than L Washington or T Jones.
