Max997 Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 where is the screen pass, the Saints are bringing extra rushers on every play
DC Tom Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Edwards lacks the internal clock that great QBs have. He has to have a better sense of the oncoming rush. With three guys coming straight up the middle like that, I don't think "sensing" the rush was all that much of an issue.
FreakPop Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 I like what I see from AVP, and this offense can be good, but not with Trent as the QB. He is holding the offense back. A different QB and this team scores tons and tons of points every game.
Max997 Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 second series in a row with the offense in a 3rd and more then 15
zow2 Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 i think our O-line and blitz pickup are getting ABUSED today. It's not all Trent. NO has seen something on film to get our young O-line
Golden Wheels Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 got rid of the ball in time, but short of the 1st down
scoring is not hardy Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 If you told me our D would play like this I would have said we would win this game going away
colin Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 bad push in the back on that return, but no flag.
/dev/null Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Somebody buy the Bills a copy of 2:00 Offense For Dummies
Golden Wheels Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 With three guys coming straight up the middle like that, I don't think "sensing" the rush was all that much of an issue. But don't you think he has to do a better job of getting rid of the ball when there's nothing there?
G-Daddy Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 I like what I see from AVP, and this offense can be good, but not with Trent as the QB. He is holding the offense back. A different QB and this team scores tons and tons of points every game. Come on, it's a team game....not just Trent. O line has to step it up and we've got to call some better plays.
DasNootz Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 A little off topic... but with those shades, Jauron looks like he belongs on a "Touch Catch a Predator" epsiode of Dateline.
FreakPop Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Come on, it's a team game....not just Trent. O line has to step it up and we've got to call some better plays. It's Trent, sorry you can't see it.
colin Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 let's hope the figure out greggo's d and mash it down their throats to start the 3rd quarter.
Saudi Arabia Rob Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 I like what I see from AVP, and this offense can be good, but not with Trent as the QB. He is holding the offense back. A different QB and this team scores tons and tons of points every game. I'm as critical as anyone, but Trent is not the problem today. Gregg Williams has been throwing some very good D against them. I think Trent has actually done relatively well the past few weeks. He hasn't been the reason for them losing any games. We've got a line with three rookies on it and another team's cast off as RT. Considering they are only three points down and Trent hasn't made any big mistakes....heck Brees hasn't looked that great today after the first drive.
YellowLinesandArmadillos Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Yeh and those underneath routes are open all day... Should have tried that with TO and Evan almost every play. Maybe they break one.
