DaBills51 Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 great stop by our D....roscoe better make up for it on this kick return
Golden Wheels Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Bills defense is going to be dog tired by the 4th quarter at this rate.
zow2 Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Definitely doing about as good as possible against Brees. I'm very happy only giving up a FG there. D is playing very well.
colin Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 the d has had 3 very solid drives in a row and our fcking special teams are gonna sht that away
Doc Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Hey April, teach your guys to take the first hit AND GO DOWN!!!!! It's the new selfish/fantasy football mentality. Try and pad your stats instead of using your head.
Saudi Arabia Rob Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Was that a pierson prielou sighting on Roscoe's fumbled punt? That dude is like a remora eel to Gregggggo According to an article I read this week, he's followed Gregg to Washington and around the league.
DrFishfinder Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 That could have been worse. Come on, Roscoe....hrrmph.
Erik Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 I'm ready to usher out the Roscoe era right about now...Freddie can return punts with Lynch coming back...
truth on hold Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 we need a returner w/ an IQ > 2. forget the great athlete thing ... just give me a guy that understands the importance of hanging onto the ball
JM57 Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Roscoe Parrish is most useful as a punt returner. When he can't even manage that, it's time to cut him loose. Whatever happened to Dante Hall? Oh yeah, he got figured out as a punt returner and faded into obscurity. Roscoe....meet your destiny.
loyal2dagame Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 where was the facemask call on parrish's fumble. i thought they changed that rule this year that any facemask contact was 15yrds
DC Tom Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Hey April, teach your guys to take the first hit AND GO DOWN!!!!! Parrish's job on punt returns is to make the first guy miss - which he nearly did. His job isn't to take the first hit - that's not a punt returner, that's a "punt catcher". Of course, his job is also to PROTECT THE FRIGGIN' BALL. Getting out with only a FG given up in that situation is a damn gift.
disco Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Maybe Roscoe's actually tied up in a duffelbag somewhere and that's actually Routon in his jersey?
colin Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Roscoe owes us 3 points. worse than that. he should have gotten about 15 or so yards returning that kick and we would have had a shot at 7. that's a potential 10 point swing. idiot leodis pssed away a 14 point swing in game one. bobby april needs to get some fgging discipline on his guys -- ever since they removed the wedge he isn't sht.
Simon Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Hey April, teach your guys to take the first hit AND GO DOWN!!!!! How about if they just fall down if anybody ever gets near them? That's the way to have a dynamic ST's!
Malazan Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Of course, his job is also to PROTECT THE FRIGGIN' BALL. That's the beginning and end of it.
