dave mcbride Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/33024245/ns/sports/ My fave here is the Braylon Edwards quote ("Welcome to the Browns locker room!").
/dev/null Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Technically Detroit is also on Lake Erie
The Dean Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 How long before Rob Ryan starts undermining Mangina?
3cheesenacho Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 I was just thinkin to myself earlier today: "man, we better not lose to the Browns again this year... they really suck"
The Senator Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 I know one guy who doesn't think much of Mangina... Mike Leach
BuffaloBill Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 I was just thinkin to myself earlier today: "man, we better not lose to the Browns again this year... they really suck" I have a friend who is a huge Brownies fan. He is always upbeat about their situation. However, this year he says they will be lucky to win 4.
Omar Little Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 I know one guy who doesn't think much of Mangina... Mike Leach And, as much as I like Mike Leach, Mangini was right. Crabtree is a diva of the highest order.
Hazed and Amuzed Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 I know one guy who doesn't think much of Mangina... Mike Leach Man you're campaigning for this guy really hard. Every post is "Mike Leach" this or "Mike Leach" that...
Just Jack Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Some people don't like jokes pulled on them, even if they are harmless. I can understand why he snapped.
VABills Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Technically Detroit is also on Lake Erie Technically, no it isn't. http://www.mapquest.com/maps?1c=Buffalo&am...troit&2s=mi
Offside Number 76 Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Technically Detroit is also on Lake Erie Exactly what I was thinking before I opened the thread. I guess Detroit is the "other other" Lake Erie team.

Offside Number 76 Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Detroit isn't on Lake Erie. Technically, the city itself does not front Lake Erie, you're correct. But that community is on Lake Erie. The people who live there consider themselves to be on Lake Erie. It is a Great Lakes city, and Huron is further away. Geography lesson aside, the Bills are the champions of the Lake.
K-Gun10 Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Browns rookie cornerback Coye Francies, the victim of a rookie prank, lost his temper in the locker room Friday, heaving a bucket of ice water at teammates and taking a swing at safety Abe Elam. Just after the media entered the locker room for the interview period, Francies came bursting in, dripping wet and carrying a bucket full of ice and water. At first, it looked like he might be playing around, but soon it became apparent that he wanted revenge on his fellow defensive backs for getting him soaked. Cleveland Plain Dealer

vincec Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Professional, multi-millionaire NFL players hazing each other like college fraternity brothers is ridiculous. Can you imagine if people in other professions got hazed when they first started working? Doctors? Laywers? Teachers?
DrDawkinstein Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 yeah, full article is posted in here. pretty funny. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?showtopic=97007
The Wiz Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Professional, multi-millionaire NFL players hazing each other like college fraternity brothers is ridiculous. Can you imagine if people in other professions got hazed when they first started working? Doctors? Laywers? Teachers? Truth be told, I think I would like my job better if we could do that when we hired someone new. Most of the people I work with are pretty free flying as it is so we joke with each other a lot but Doctors, Lawyers and teachers are some professions that require professionalism all the time.
BillsZubaz Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Professional, multi-millionaire NFL players hazing each other like college fraternity brothers is ridiculous. Can you imagine if people in other professions got hazed when they first started working? Doctors? Laywers? Teachers? Who tinkled in your cornflakes?! It is a tradition (of sorts), a right of passage that dates back to before these guys were "multi-millionaires". You were hazed when you were a rookie...now you get to do the hazing sort of thing. Just because it never became a part of the culture of other professions means nothing. Although the NFL has become much more a of a "professional" business over the last decade, it is what it is. Young men being paid to play a sport...It doesn't merit the same professionalism or decorum of the above referenced professions... Right or wrong...its an ingrained part of the culture of the sport/league.
